4 super conferences are inevitable. I say we offer ND again to just collapse the Big East, which I think is done now anyways, and the ACC and let the SEC and Big 12 fight for leftovers. By staying out in front and forcing people's hands than we in fact our going to win.
There was a pretty big story here that when Josh Harrelson was playing bad, sophomore season, that at halftime during a game he made him sit in a bathroom stall until the game was over and than made him ride back to Lexington in the equipment bus. Not as major as what the report is showing but still can see the douchery in the man.
The guy in my fantasy league is the arresting officer of Billy G in lawerenceburg KY for DUI. The one that pretty much got him fired from UK.
I think the playoffs will have a direct effect on the expansion. 4 conferences all with a bid. Your 8 team playoff will involve the conference championship game. That way the two "best" teams in your conference make the playoff.
Also this just makes sense since one of the next big steps in college football(sports in general) is to pay players. Not all 120 FBS schools can pay all athletes and turn a profit. You need to be able to seperate the 64-80 schools that can make it successful.
And no, I don't care about the Boise/TCUs of the world.
If you added ND, than Texas would be a willing participant to join the B1G. I think you could snatch both of them and add Syracuse/rutgers and Virgina and that in itself would bring huge payouts.
ND and Texas would minimize their losses by joining the same conference and something that was rumored to happen.
I would just like to see 4 super conferences do a 4 team playoff. All 4 conference winners play in it seeded by final ranking. It would almost be like an 8 team playoff really.
4 super conferences of 16-20 teams. A plus 1 conference championship game with a plus 1 national championship game. All 4 super conferences will be represented and a +1 conference championship would prevent anything like this year from happening again. Win your conference and move on to the National championship +1.

This would be much better with 20 team conferences and with the evolotion of the conferences it will happen soon
Were bringing back the days of the Detroit Bad Boys. We drafted what is questionably the dirtiest DL in the draft last year to play next to Suh in the future. The steelers have plenty of dirty players on defense and they win championship.
IMO we will eventually see 4-20 team conferences. 4 divisions per conference. Which also works out perfect for 9 conference games. Get rid of one out of conference game and you can do a +1 conference championship game and than a 4 team playoff for the NC game.

You would have 80/120 teams competing which is better than 64/120. And it puts a lot of pressure on schools like Notre Dame and Texas(if they go independent) to get in a conference or get left out. And before we added Nebraska, Jim delaney made a remark about possible 20 team conferences. IMO it's the future of college football.
Was Berkely Edwards invited to the BBQ. I know he is not one of the higher rated players in the state of Michigan, but I think one name alone he would of got invited.
I say we do a celebration where we do a one-time mascot where when the buckeye runs on the field we unleash the wolverine to beat his ass pregame. That should be enough to carry us to the victory.
One thing I would like to see fixed is scholarships. I hate feeling like the SEC and signing 20+ guys a year and than cutting 10 of them. So I would like to receive just enough scholarships to fill my team in every class. Think that would make recruiting a lot better especially in online dynasty's.
If Diamond holds out on his decision and Garnett and Banner want to commit to Michigan. Than what will they do. Is the last spot now first come, first serve.
10 OL and 1 QB. You could run the victory formation every play. Would be interesting to see what that would look like in one drive. Also with a no huddle.
IMO what could work is if a team and player could opt out of their contract after year 3. (only for the rookies)
That way after 3 years of J. Russell did not work than Oakland could either redo his contract or let him go without losing the 60 million? they owed him. Or it could work that Chris Johnson who blew up could opt out and get a new contract after year 3 and eliminate somewhat of a holdout. Also adding something like only the team can opt out on 1st round picks e that is who makes the most money and players drafted in the 2nd and later(make significantly less) can opt out and restructure for more money

FWIW.

It said Suhs score with the new testing would of been between 50-65. I got it on DVR and will verify it later. Seems quite low for a future all-pro.
My proposal would be 4 super conferences of 20 teams. 4 divisions per conference. And have a 4 team conference championship tournament followed by a 4 team national championship tournament. It would be plenty of quality games for weeks.
Weaver started the season 6-0 and now is 9-4. Verlander is by far one of the hottest pitchers in baseball right now. Also JV has a no hitter to go with all his stats. JV is leading for the Cy Young and it's not close
Even if RR was still here that means we would still have GRob as DC so our defense would still be terribly coached. and since he obviously did not recruit the state of Michigan than we lose players like RJS and TRich and JRoss to places like MichState. And I don't think RR has a clue on how to take advantage of this Ohio State situation.

2nd. There was no guarantee Hart was even coming to Mich. I highly doubt he would of stayed committed to Mich regardless of RR or not. It was easy to see Mich was not ready to compete with the rest of the competition of the B1G.

3. I would of loved to of seen McGuffie and DRob on the field together. McGuffies YouTube videos were sick. And I think they would of been fun to watch if only he could of not been injured with concussions and handled his family/personal problems. What could of been.
Could he possibly have the skills to be a WR. He could come in and be an immediate contributor. Just saying. 6'4 and (and potentially growing) and 4.5 speed is a rare combo to find. Don't know for sure but he probably plays 2-way on his football team
No way does this become an annual thing. When Hoke gets some comfortable depth on the team than it will all play itself out. It's just a awkward year with how many scholarships we have to have exactly what we need. And well with Ohio State, this is the best time to just take over the B1G.
I think for most part that RR will always be a Big East style coach. We beat the #1 team in the BE last year. Or could have a lot of success in the ACC. And with those 2 conferences their is not so much pressure to win now since most schools are irrelevant. He would have 5 years to build a dynasty against a bunch of mediocre football teams.
Trade back to the 18-22 and pick up Kenneth Faried. Does all the things to assist Greg Monroe like rebounding block shots. Give him one year to learn from Ben than set him loose.

I say a trade like this
Ben Gordon, 8th pick, cash
For
Minnesotas Jonny Flynn, 20th pick, and and expiring contract. We could free up quite a bit of cap space. Get a PG and C. I think Minnesota would be willing to trade with Rubio supposedly coming over from Spain.

I thought we already have 3 early enrollees in Ringer, Wilson, and Bolden
Yeah Harrison and Polomalu headhunting is clean, hard, tough football

If Louisville does win next week @USF than they would win the Big East but with 5 loses they would be ineligible for the BCS. (is this correct?)

Anyone seen Sammy Watkins today. He is a straight up playmaker.

I read on RJS twitter account today that he is not taking visits
9-3 is not gonna get us to the rose bowl. Hell it probably won't even get us in the B1G championship game
With bringing in potentially 6 OL. You would think Michigan would try to stagger them a little.
I heard that on CFL. I was blown away when he said all that bullshit. They took about 5 minutes of the show to bash Michigan.
ESPN said today on college football live that we had 3 out of the top 10 in Ohio and the Wormley would be the 4th if he committed.

Wish they would bring back all-MVP teams for all teams. Would love to play with the 97'.

I have not been keeping up with the lockout so much. So what is the rumor with 18 game schedules? Is it a go or completely off the table now?

You can still be part of "The Game"
Whenever. Wherever. Gonna party like we won The ship
I would think the OL will start dropping soon. If Peat plans on making a late decision their might not be a spot for him.
