Correct, I don't have kids, and I don't have any experience taking a baby to a game.
I do, however, have unpleasant experiences of others taking babies to a game.

OK, don't listen to us. Ask your baby. Ask your baby if she would like to go to a football game, and ask her where she would like to sit. That way it won't be about you.
I'll be in my seat "instilling a love for a great institution like Michigan" to the cat I smuggle in. I'm pretty darn sure Mr. Whiskers wants it this way.
Here's my suggestion: leave the baby home.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||Selfish||
It seems selfish to me. If you do bring the kid, I hope you don't sit next to me.
It makes as much sense as taking a house cat to a game.

Ok, I had never heard that before, and I've been to IMS many, many times...just never for the FSGG.
It would be like Manchester United playing on Old Trafford at Michigan Stadium.
Why don't they just call the track what it is? When they are at Circuit of the Americas, they are racing at Curcuit of the Americas. When they're at IMS, they're racing at IMS. Seems dumb to me.

The Curcuit of the Americas is in Austin (opened in 2012)
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is in Indianapolis (opened in 1909)
Two totally different tracks.

I taught my wife how to use the chimney starter so that the coals are ready when I get home (she gets home beofre me).
Pros: Grill is ready to go!
Cons: Less beer time

Sometimes less is more. Navy blue with a little yellow might look classy.
While we're on the subjsct of grilling, I have gove 100% charcoal, and will never go back to gas. To me, the meat tastes far better. I know that it takes a while to get the coals ready, but that's when I'm doing additional prep to the meat and sides.
I'm just curious how many on here are charcoalers.

Not saying that Lewan doesn't share the blame, and I am in no way defending him, but did any of the captains show any leadship?
Story time: late in the OSU game when we were driving, the coaches were getting all the defensive players up to push the offense (most were already up on their own). Ryan and Morgan were the only two sitting on the bench, and I could see Ryan say "I'm not standing" to Morgan. It made me kind of sick. (FYI - my seat was in the 1st row behind the defence).
Lewan wasn't the only problem. Did any captain actually stand up and lead?

I find the pre-game shows pointless, full of old news and fake laughter to dumb jokes. Couldn't one of the networks try something a little creative instead of the same old, tired pre-game show?

I agree with you. It is such a fine line to affect the base emotions when buying Product A versus Product B. I don't think this will be too affective.

The Detroit News is reporting a less definite story:
“I anticipate the staff (returning),” Hoke said.
When asked if he did not expect changes with his staff, he replied simply.
“Correct,” Hoke said.
But Hoke, like most coaches, evaluates the entire team, players and coaches, at the end of every season. Last week, Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon told The News he would sit down with Hoke, as he does with every head coach at Michigan, and evaluate the personnel and staff.

The roll cage looks like it should, and the wing was designed to flatten like that, dissapating energy. The picture of the car doesn't look like a crash that would produce a fatality, but that track is fast, and he hit the wall pretty hard.
FWIW, I used to race against Jason in USAC Silver Crown in the late 90's/early 00's. He was a good guy.
