Lose 2

I think regardless of what happens with this, we're losing 2 of the 3 threats to go pro.

Stauskas is a lock in my opinion, so either GR3 or McGary will stay, but not both.

It's a basektball thing in

It's a basektball thing in general, youtube sam cassell, eddie house, kobe bryant big balls and you'll get many hits.

Comes from Major League II (no idea why this from a baseball movie made it's way to basketball but it did).

capital one bowl

The Capital One Bowl used to be called the Citrus Bowl and is played in the Citrus Bowl. Some people like to use the old name. Kinda like if some sponsor paid to rename the Rose Bowl to I dunno, the Rogaine Hair Loss Treatment Bowl, we'd still call it the Rose Bowl,.

related to soccer

I agree with a lot of comments above in that the name will ring out more that the number. There are so many players, that a number of a great player that graduated will immediately get reycled the next year that it kind of loses it's luster right away. Vincent Smith wore 2, so did Sean Crable. However, I think establishing something similar to the number 9 or number 10 in soccer at Michigan would be cool, which is what the legends jerseys might do. So many of the best players in soccer history wore 9 or 10. That number represents more than that individual, but all of the past indivuals before him. Look at Rooney, Messi, Pele, Totti, Ronaldo, Donovan, all with the same numbers.

dead baby

What sound does a baby make when you microwave it?

I don't know, I was too busy masterbating.

I agree he will definitely

I agree he will definitely have a better career than Tebow, at least a longer one. When a player with that much talet can check his ego at the door and become coachable, the sky is the limit. It's when players let their pride get in the way that they rarely reach maximum potential.

14-0 is the best case

14-0 is the best case senario, 14-0 is probably more realistic, and 14-0 is the worst case senario.

it's full size

It's a full size field, just indoors so you can play year round.

The money line kinda rubbed

The money line kinda rubbed me the wrong way as well to be honest. I dunno, just seems like an odd thing to say.

Some think Burke was a better

Some think Burke is a better college player right now, but not a better prospect at the next level.

urban meyer

Urban Meyer has, MAC, MWC, and SEC.

Brian sure knows how to pick

Brian sure knows how to pick 'em....

Excellent piece Ace.

master p

That's a Master P song dude, although coincidentaly, Master P's son is friends with Darius Morris.

friends

I dunno, my best friends are still the guys I went to high school with. I bet a lot of these guy's best buddies/teammates/childhood friends get a huge kick out of it.

A few of my friends who went on to play college sports all say that high school sports was way more fun, was actually the last time they had REAL fun playing.

no brag

No brags man, just giving you the numbers. I had several friends with better GPA's (4.0+) but slightly lower ACT (29/30) get denied that year because they didn't spend enough time on their essays.

very important

I agree with all others that you should pick someone that will set you apart from the others. I also must emphasize the comment about it being extremely polished. I believe my essays were the biggest reason for my admission. My grades weren't great (3.7ish) and my test scores weren't great (31 ACT, 14-something SAT). However, I spent many many many hours on my essays and had them read by just about everyone who I felt could write better than me. I re-wrote each one at least a dozen times and made hundreds of tweaks over several months. Not to mention, since the affirmative action supreme court case, I belive essays are now the main road by which the school keeps the student body diverse so keep that in mind.

dude

there are like 100 gazillion million of us in L.A.

20-17 good guys

Michigan wins on a late 4th quarter Gibbons Field goal.

offense is a little mistelling

I think the offensive rank is mistelling because it doesn't take into account plays where the game isn't deemed "close". So, 3rd quarter vs Notre Dame isn't in here but the 4th quarter is. And since most of our other games, we built a big lead, a lot of the plays don't get taken into consideration. But, I think the biggest factor is that Notre Dame game. Since the jumpballs happened in such a short time and an entire quarter of terrible play was eliminated from the stats, it bumps our rank up quite a bit.

OT?

I don't understand why everyone goes crazy over labeling topics OT on this message board. A post about a Michigan player is never OT.

Also, something is either OT or it's not. None of this "Way OT!!!!" or "Super Totally OT".

football

football and it's not even close

Hot Fuzz

He's quoting a movie, HE NOT BE SERIOUS YO

Good point

I see that point, but now I don't see the point of having divisions at all. Just have the number 1 and number 2 teams play for a championship since your division record ultimately doesn't matter (except for some tie breaker I'm sure). For scheduling, I guess it gaurantee's you play these 5 times every year, but in the end, if your conference record is what matters, what's the point?

And the Big10 would still have a conference, you produce 1 winner and the cross division games would be tiebreakers rather than using the division games.

No

If we each go 5-1 in the division, Nebraska will win on head to head, regardless of their record outside of the division. At least that's how it should be, if it's not, then that's just wrong.

a fail in correcting a fail

The double fail, nicely done.

is it just me

Or were the only kids who played lacrosse growing up were the ones who were too small to play football and couldn't skate...
