Your weekly dose of Ricardo Miller goodness

Ricardo Miller had a in school visit today with Miami. They gave him an offer, and told him they will respect that he's committed to Michigan, but they will keep coming after him. Shortly after he was then talking with Rutgers as well. While talking we both expect that the offers will start to flood in after signing day. I asked him if it bothers him, or how he feels about the new offers. He said, "I don't really care because I am Michigan." (That's not a typo, or spoken wrong. Gotta love him)

I friended him on facebook a while ago and asked if he liked snow. He promptly responded (all-caps) "Heck yeah man!". He's awesome.

Tom, I have a huge Bromance going on with Ricardo, but I was wondering what was up with these visits in school. Is he scheduling these?? If so why if he's so "committed"? Do schools just do a "pop in"? Just curious about the whole routine...it would seem like a pain in the ass making chit chat with all these guys day after day, but I've never had that happen to me so maybe the attention is intoxicating. Thanks for the insight.

He doesn't schedule them. That's why I asked if it bothers him. Phone calls and offers come in. If a school, like today with Miami, wants to come offer him, he's not going to say no. You never know what could happen so he can't alienate himself from everyone. He's committed, it's just not in anyone's best interest for him to be rude to anyone. That's not his nature anyway.

you are the man Tom! So is Ricardo. Love all the info as usual. We've only got 2 commits, but I'm definitely excited for the class of '10. Now if only we can close out this class for '09 signing strong and have a decent season next fall.

dear mr. miller : If you ever happen to google your own name and find your way here, please do not run in terror from Michigan. I assure you that 98% of our fans have no interest in making a skin suit out of you and acting out BCS fantasies in the backyard - and that the AAPD is a solid group who will protect you from those that will do that. Sincerely, dex

"I am Michigan." I'm picturing a series of diverse people -- alums curing cancer or going to the moon or running successful businesses -- looking into the camera and going "I am Michigan." Include Woodley looking up from his stance at the Superbowl, delivering the line before rushing in and sacking Warner, and I'm in. Lots better than creepy-ass Joe Paterno having a constipational moment on my mother's couch.
