We get UNLV in Baton Rouge, winner faces the winner of LSU/Hawai'i. LSU is coached by Kim Mulkey who we've faced a bunch of times while she was at Baylor. Also, she's a fucking awful human.
2 seed in the region if we can upset the Tigers is Utah, 1 seed is Indiana who won the Big Ten regular season and swatted us away pretty easily twice (9 at Crisler, 16 in Assembly).
Making the second weekend would be a pretty big success in a post-Naz environment. Sort of in a holding pattern until the improved results are reflected in the caliber of recruits KBA can get on campus. Which I think is two years away based on current commits.
Three thoughts:
- An 11-seed with 2 losses?!
- Can confirm, Mulkey is trash
- For the love of God, please don’t turn the ball over 277 times like we did in the Big Ten tourney!
Good luck ladies!
Re UNLV, while they have only 2 losses, they only played 1 high major conference team. That team is 8 seed Oklahoma State, which beat UNLV 87-62. Early season caveats apply, but the rebels schedule was super weak.

To get to the 2nd weekend, we need peak Phelia and Brown, the return of Maddie Nylon, Williams staying out of Foul trouble, and better team FT shooting. Not sure how much we'll be able to reduce TOs, as this is part of having Brown at Point Forward and Williams on the floor with Kiser.

Logged in just to ask why she’s an awful person.

Most prominently she vociferously defended Baylor's handling of the sexual assault scandal there.

Since Bo knew, this forum really needs to stop taking the moral high ground and stick to sports.

with michigan and vt out of the tourney i'm all in for michigan and vt women's hoops
let's go
It's a bit of a bummer that we weren't able to host after beating UNC and Baylor in the nonconference. I wonder if Iowa or Indiana goes the distance and wins the national championship.

Hoping the team is healthy and has the depth to play to their potential.
