Will There Be A Basketball Preview Podcast?

I think it typically is released during the football bye week but I haven't seen it yet. Will there be one this year? I know the outlook for the team isn't great but I think they may be better than people think

Oh I think they will be better than we think for sure. Tough as nails defense is what I am looking forward to. Oh and finally letting Twill cook!

I hope so.  This is one year where I have no clue who to expect to be the leader(s) of this team.   1st time in a while where I have no clue who our top 2 or 3 players are going to be.

Michigan will be improved over last year by minimum +4 wins in regular season.

Jett Howard had talent but overall hurt the team due to defense and the team unity / culture.   Coach, If you are going to have your kid play on the team that kid better put out 100% effort.

Something was off with Hunter

Defense will be greatly improved and offense may tick down but we have some players who will be willing to get the last basket-

I actually think the outlook for this team is fine. People are way too down because of the disappointment of last year but this is going to be like those mid year beilein teams that finish 7-9th in the big ten and are a win or two in the big ten tourney from making the ncaa tournament

I would be pretty surprised if this team doesn't finish in the bottom 4/5 of the conference. They'll probably play ok to good defense and be pretty bad to bad on offense. If they're even fun to watch, I'll give them credit, but they look more like a classic Rutgers team and man were those teams tough to watch.

Gonna be a rough season for UM men's basketball.  Wouldnt blame the mgoblog crew of putting in a minimal amount of effort towards the men's basketball team, unless the team starts stronger than anticipated.

The narrative behind the basketball doomsayers is that Michigan couldn't make the NCAA with an All American Center and two first round draft picks, so they will be even worse without them.

I think the reality is that HD was 2 years removed from All American status and for whatever reason makes the team around him worse.  One of your 1st round picks may well be a great NBA prospect but wasn't a good college player.

I think this year's team has talent that seems to be overlooked -  all starters will be 4* or better.   The transfers all seem to have great attitudes (again I refer you negatively to HD) and have something to prove.   I think you will see a better team even if the perception  that there has been a drop off in talent is correct.   I think the better team will come from better college players with better attitudes and a more team oriented style of play.
