Why does Lynn Henning write in the UM section of the Det News?
Everything this guy puts out there is a wet blanket. It is like reading a column written by Droopy Dog, I am confused as to why he smiles in his picture. Big Ten alignment has flaws, MSU fans will be reaching for their spittoons (italics his), UM/OSU rematches make me sad cat
What a waste of a column. Thank God for Wojo.

...why does Lynn Henning write at all? He's equally terrible at all sports. Maybe he could write movie reviews instead.

My guess is that the only sport about which Henning has any true passion is baseball, and that he was passed by younger talent for that beat and relegated to filling in wherever it is deemed neccessary. I am also guessing that he sees this as a "demotion," and is miserable when writing about a sport and a team that interests him about as much as watching corn grow.
As for Wojo, I like him because he seems to love football, but writes as if he has no emotional investment in the result of any game, except to have fun writing about it. I am thinking that he would have fit into the Zen Tricksters (the original ones who followed the Dead around, not the band named after them) quite nicely.

It suprises me the guy still has a job considering how awful he is.

Lynn Henning , why does that ugly smiling old lady have an article on the Michigan page of the Det News

they're trying to spread a little bit of content as far as they can. In a world where print news is the dinosaur and budgets miniscule.
