Where will Michigan be ranked this week?

Where do you guys think Michigan will be ranked when the polls come out tomorrow? I'm going with 5 in the AP and 6 in the coaches but I could also see Houston jumping us.

often something to climbing than having the high rank that elicits the best shot of everyone you play. Sure, Michigan always gets that but a top-10 Michigan REALLY gets it. Won't complain and if you're better you find a way to win. It's also a thing with your own team where no matter how much you rail against it some players will take it for granted.

They will be lucky to break top 15. Teams don't move up that much, generally. Also, notice the rhetoric since that game. Nobody is talking about wisconsin, it's all about 'same old Les' Tigers. The people writing this are the people who vote.

I wouldn't be surprised if Texas is ranked higher than Wisky from the unranked teams because of the hype of beating Notre Dame.

in the AP, Coaches, Harris polls & others.

Of more importance, the Wolverines have a clear path (under their own control) to the playoff through the non-backing-in B1G lane.

Houston will be given the Boise State treatment. Close but not good enough. One win against a top 10 team is not going to be enough when it comes down to the end of the end of the season. I know we are talking about this week, but just wanted to get that out of the way. If Oklahoma runs the table rest of the way and Houston is unbeaten, I say OK gets the nod over Houston because of the sheet SOS.

UH has may be one or possibly two ranked teams in their schedule rest of the way. OK has OSU, Baylor, Texas, TCU. I am probably missing some teams. They have a way tougher schedule. If OU runs the table, I see them being picked over UH. I am 100% confident and you could be right. But I feel like UH schedule is not that great rest of the way.

Not so sure about that. They still have Louisville on the schedule, and so far, Louisville looks pretty good. If Houston beats Louisville, and runs the table of course, I think they're in. And considering Houston beat Oklahoma convincingly, I think they'd get the nod over Oklahoma.

Barring there being 4 undefeated teams from B1G, SEC, ACC and Pac-12. Then Houston is screwed. But I think the Pac-12 is going to cannibalize itself this year.

pretty impressive defense dont you think?jut because the initial poll is way off, especially with Houston so then we should continue to hold that against teams that deserve to be in the top ten. imo that includes houston and wisconsin. TOSU and michigan played horrible teams.

Still a bit up in the air because of the Ole Miss / FSU game tonight, but if FSU wins tonight like I expect them too, I think tomorrow's polls will be:

1) Alabama
2) FSU
3) Clemson
4) OSU
5) Michigan

I'm expecting FSU to look pretty good tonight, beat Ole Miss and leapfrog Clemson. But if FSU also loses tonight, I think we'll work our way up to #4. As for Houston, they're not leapfrogging us. Not because they're not necessarily better than us, but 10+ spots is way too big a jump. Houston will probably land somewhere in the 7-9 range.
