Where was Marell Evans?
We all know Marell Evans left the Michigan program when Rich Rod came in and that he has recently returned for the Brady Hoke regime. My question is: where did he go? Was he playing anywhere during that time?
Evans is a guy I think could make a big impact this fall so I'm really curious about him. Any help is appreciated and sorry if I missed this info somewhere.
Could be mistaken but I believe Hampton.
Do you have any stats on him from his time at Hampton? Looking at the 2009/2010 stats on the Hampton site, it appears he didn't contribute at all.
Hampton I believe.....
EDIT: Beat me to it.
I remember seeing him play when they faced Central a couple of years ago.
any live streams of the wings game, nhl has this area blacked out?
Game isn't so much blacked out as it is on Fox Sports Plus. Most cable networks carry it, just have to look for local channel number.

it was put on the overflow channel, but when I tried to watch it on nhl.com, they had the game blacked out. None the less, thanks for the link to Trueblue25 for the link.
Another borderline useless thread to get points back after legendary new years day post.
Well maybe if you'd answer these questions when I ask you them, I wouldn't have to starts threads on MGoBlog.

This is incorrect. Evans actually started the first game of the Rodriguez era at WLB against Utah. He earned a -3 in the UFR, getting dinged for a "critical failure on [a] 40-yard flare."
As the play was developing, he was in fine position to make the tackle, or at the very least slow the play down. But then Marell took the worst angle I've seen outside of
Seriously? He didn't contribute at FCS Hampton, but is going to make an impact at Michigan. He played in one game last year and didn't record any statistics.
Yeah, I had heard good things about him in practice but after seeing he recorded zero stats in his time at Hampton, my bubble burst.
Did it occur to you that maybe the reason he wasn't successful at Hampton is something other than "he sucks at football?" I heard he was injured most of the time he was there so he didn't really play. I've also heard promising reports from practice that he's been looking strong.
He didn't play football at Hampton.
Or, at least he didn't get into any games.
Evans was part of a covert psyops thing in Turkmenistan. Just shut up about it. You didn't hear it from me. I'm fucking serious.
Marell injured his wrist his first year at Hampton, then had a leg injury and didn't play his second year.
By all accounts he's now working with the 1's and is a very good player (as far as practice players can be).
That was Evans' ranking by Rivals. He was the lowest rated recruit in his class at UM--which doesn't mean he could not turn into a decent college football player, but does suggest the odds are against him,
