What's going on at The Wolverine these days?

Submitted by Maizen on

Both Spath and Sullivan have left and it doesn't sound like it was their decision. Spath was on WTKA this week and confirmed he would still like to be at Rivals but that he wanted to be a publisher and have more influence in the direction of the site and was told basically to get lost. No idea what happened to Sullivan but the recruiting info there went ownhill fast once Josh Helmholdt left. Rumors both were canned by Stu Coman the publisher on other parts of the internet.

IMO the Michigan Scout and 247 sites have passed Rivals, which was unfathomable only a few years ago.

and getting started here. If Brian thought he was out of line, I'm sure he would have slowed him down. I wouldn't call four texts spamming. When you have so many people jumping to your defence, you should slow down the criticism of others.

Wasn't trying to correct you, that was just what I thought of when reading your comment. In all honesty, I knew that was the British spelling, yet had no idea it was spelled that way in Canada. So, thanks for informing me.

I'm just wondering how these sites make enough to pay their staff. It's like edible arrangements, the most obvious drug cartel front I've ever seen.... Sure you make enough money to stay solvent. You're peddling overpriced fruit to fat ass Americans. That's a wonderful business model.

Edible arrangements isn't the drug cartel of the food world. That would be the cookie version, it's called cookies by design by me. That was middle school MgoJohnStamos's go to date present. Should have called it the date finder, because shit wrecked more dances for me than you would imagine.

I don't remember the programs at Ross taking students currently enrolled in the fifth grade, but then I forget that now and again you run into the odd prodigy, the ones that graduate from Harvard at 16 and so forth. I know that isn't the case here, of course, but those stories seem to exist all the same.

At least he writes for BadgerNation now per his Twitter profile and won't be trying to that site of his here for a good long time, perhaps never again....hopefully never again.

One of the sites had to go, even with a fan base as big as Michigan 3 recruiting sites is overkill.  Didn't understand why ESPN got into the game a few years back and they quickly realized the error and shuttered them all even the Michigan one which had the most users.  Scout  + 247 seems like plenty and has been the best coverage lately.
