Sam Webb just put his crystal ball in for Trevor Keegan to UM. Keegan is a 2019 OT from Illinois. Harbaugh and Warinner were in home today.

Politics? I have no idea what his politics are (though by this I assume he’s an anti-Trump, which - surprise  - he’s a Hollywood actor) but I just don’t find him funny. I didn’t like 30 rock, what can I say? I know I’m in the minority, but I just didn’t like it. Oh well. Moving on.

Politics included, Baldwin is funny. One has to love people who openly discuss trying to separate a person from his views to justify his humor, which just indicates that part of what one finds funny is in political views.

Part of what makes someone funny to people is his or her takes on culture, on how people govern based on their views of right and wrong.

Johnathan Swift was funny because his writing trashed the British government and rich for fucking over the poor. Same with Soviet writers  who mocked Dtalon and Lenin and the groupthink of Communist bureaucracy.

You try to slight Baldwin’s humor by slighting his politics. Why? Because you don’t agree with his politics. That’s the main reason one wouldn’t find him funny—one doesn’t find his humor matches his or her view of actual life.

The sensitive Trump lovers just need to acknowledge that. You don’t like that he makes fun of your politics, but plenty of us love that he points out just how stupid and wrong Trump is.

I mean, politics aside, I am just making an argument about humor, right? There’s no suggestive value to my politcal leanings—and those leanings do not matter in how I define the world as funny or not, right? I’m just valuing a person based on who they are—not who I am and what I believe!

So please don’t make this political when I mention that I want to mention politics. We don’t need to go in for pages debating it.
