LINK: http://www.statechamps.tv/mrfootball/index.asp?err=5
3 wolverine recruits are being considered for mr. football in the state of michigan.
Matt Godin
James Ross
Sugar Shane Morris
Others to note
MSU- Burbridge
UC- Norfleet
Current leader- SMU- prescott line.. I have no clue who he is. anyone know much on him?
I went with ross because he just seems to be playing well and ACE seems to have a great liking for him. Vote for who want but lets see if we can get a wolverine ahead in the vote.

The Oxford bots are winning. Unleash the hordes for UM commits.

I assumed that was the case or he was putting on a hard marketing rush for himself. either or, good for him, it has to be an honor to just be considered for the award.

but that's because of wrestling. He's a terrific wrestler. He went 44-3 to win the 215 pound Division 1 state championship last March. However, I don't really know about Line the football player.

well thanks for catching me up. I was sort of confused that the only guy I hadn't heard of is winning. I'm from Ohio so its kind of hard to keep up on kids who aren't being recruited to Michigan.

a better wrestler than football player, but he is going to SMU to play football. CRAIG JAMES KILLED 5 HOOKERS?!!!

Matt Godin needs your votes. He asked everyone to vote for him and the other Michigan recruits over this Oxford guy

I voted for Ross. Craig James must be stuffing these ballots

line is a beast ...had 391 yards and 6 tds last week against good Southfield team...Peyton hillis type back

I voted for Ross. Line's brother ran for almost 1500 yards at SMU last year.

It wouldn't let me vote for myself circa 1995...every year I get older, the better I was...so 16 years later I should be Mr. Football

For those of you that do not know about Line his older brother Zach is a stud running back at SMU, many people call him the next peyton hillis. As for lil brother Oxford coaches say hes better then Zach.

He sounds like a real gym rat. A scrappy player.

He just understands the game, too. He isn't the fastest or strongest, but he makes up for it with his guts and brains.
I think the best comparison is Wes Welker if Welker had a completely different body and played a different position. Maybe John Stockton if Stockton had played football instead.

I voted for Ross as well. I think anyone that sees video on the kid will grow a liking for him. One of the more instictive kids I've seen come out of St. Mary's which is saying a lot. He's in on every play.

They play high school football in Michigan? Hmm..who knew.
October 12th, 2011 at 4:46 PM ^
I voted for Ross because 1. He deserves it. 2. He seems like the most viable candidate of the Michigan recruits to win it.
October 12th, 2011 at 5:11 PM ^
And Morris the next. No need for Morris to win it twice.
October 12th, 2011 at 5:30 PM ^
Maybe we should offer him

I'm probably as qualified as many of the other voters, that is to say I'm not qualified, because I haven't seen all of them play! I voted for Matt anyways. I've seen him play and he is an impact player. I can't wait to get this kid rocking the winged helmet. He's going to be great.

Maybe I'm missing something, but i don't see Denard's name...........(sarcasm alert for the Douchetonios of the world)

Line has been a varsity starter since he was a Freshman. I played against him my senior year in high school. Tough, talented kid. A lot like his brother.
