That or 191 receiving yards by Davis. Thompson is a close second, for what? 300yds against ECU? Popularity contest, which is something the SEC has been winning lately.

Well he only had 2 TDs, and around 100 guys put up 2 TDs in week 1, and he did it on a crazy 44 carries. If he had only carried 18 times, like he did the next game against Central, he might not've even broken 100 yards (just like he didn't in the next game against Central.) The announcers didn't hesitate to drop the early season "H" word after that 70 yard game he had, lmfao.

Take away Denard, and we are left with 10 yards or so offense.
Win.

Are the SEC fans all voting in a bloc?

Apparently, it is a different poll, since it includes Barkley (USC). I could not see any vote totals.

If you read the comments, it would seem that there is some sort of coordiated effort afoot to get Dylan Thompson the win in this poll. None of the comments try to claim that his performance is better than D-Rob's but they all talk about how he "deserves to win" because he is only a backup QB. I suspect this one is going to be unwinnable, even though Robinson's numbers are cleary more impressive.
