Magnus how does Biegel compare to Ross/Bolden.
They're all fairly comparable, talent-wise. Each of them is a 4-star prospect.
Biegel's a little bigger than Ross and a little thinner than Bolden. He probably could have played SAM linebacker for Michigan. The biggest thing I liked about Biegel was that he's a very well coached, fundamental player. It probably has something to do with his dad playing linebacker in college, I guess. But he would have been ready to play as soon as he put on a few pounds of muscle.
Does Ross (or Bolden) have more long term upside than Biegel, based on athletism?

Since Ross and Bolden are still on the table for Michigan the answer has to be an unequivocal yes.
Not really, in my opinion. They're all pretty good athletes.

We'll never be able to have the fabled Biegel / Loxley team up. What a combination!
Loxley and Biegel. Can't miss!
So...what happens next? Don't we already have 2 very good LBs in this class, or were we looking for 3?
We're probably taking at least three. We could take more if the class gets bigger.
NEED MOAR LINEBACKERS
Recruiting reminds me of playing strategy games so much sometimes. As soon as you get a decent amount of one unit, you have to step up production of another unit to keep your whole army balanced. It's tough.
Anyways, video game time.
Good luck young man.
We'll take Bolden, Ross.
I wish he'd gone to BYU, where we wouldn't have to worry about him.
With the new schedule, we don't play Wisconsin until about 2045, so I wouldn't worry about this.
Unless Wisconsin lands in the Big Ten Time Travelers Division after the next re-divisioning.
with Bolden and Ross on the radar.
Good luck to him.
He was a good prospect, but to be honest the fact that he's mormon and likely would have gone on a mission left me hoping he would choose to go somewhere else. Just logistically I'd rather we recruit guys who aren't planning to take two year breaks in the middle of their college careers.
Again, seems like a great kid but I'm glad he ended up at Wisconsin.
Cue the sad Charlie Brown music...
Doo doo doooo..doo dooo....
He must want to drink Leinies and New Glarus in college instead of being dry.
You called voltz to wiscy too didn't you?
I think I've only run spreasheet and posted about Beigel and Camren Williams. I searched but didn't find anything.
I shared spreadsheet info with Tom about Zeke Pike, but I don't think I posted that on here.
well either way, nicely done
