Well I know one thing. Every time I hear him talk he sounds like a pretty cool guy who respects the hell out of Beilein. So... fuck that guy? 

Also, that loss does take a bit of the shine off but we probably should have assumed Michigan kicking so much ass was at least partly because Nova lost a lot of talent and will be significantly worse than last year. I still feel really good about this year.

Pretty ugly loss for Nova - can't do any sort of spin on this and it makes you wonder just how depleted/young they are.  We may need to wait until the NoCar game to get the real measure of Coach B's guys.

Furman beat Loyola-Chicago earlier this season and Loyola is expected to be a top 25-35 team this season.

 

Yes, it dampen the luster of Nova win but it's a blowout win, not a close game. Michigan didn't have a letdown game against George Washington which is important.

They are the favorite to win Missouri Valley conference and return most of their players from the final four team including their best player, Clayton Custer. They should run through the conference without a problem and put up 25 wins this season.
