VIDEO: McGary, Robinson Presser
Beilein's obsession with Spike's love life is starting to get creepy.
Nah, he's just old. Old guys love to beat jokes to death. You must have a young dad if you've not experienced this.
I thought it was hilarious. And I thought it spoke volumes as to Spike's comfort level and place on the team that Beilein would interactively make fun of him at a presser.
I thought Beilein was joking about Spike's recent hype from his performance in the championship game. It seemed to me he was asking if there was a scheduled date to announce Spike's declaration to go NBA or stay in school. Beilein said "dates" but then corrected himself by saying "there's no date?"
Mitch McGary has an unexpectedly deep voice.
Nick Baumgardner wrote an interesting piece which contains a cool prologue to today's presser that might be cool to share here.

Late on Wednesday, Glenn Robinson III and Mitch McGary talked over their decision during a one-on-one at the gym, even though Mitch says he was clear on what he wanted to do as early as Tuesday. I thought that was actually a pretty cool image.
McGary on Robinson: "We're like brothers," McGary said. "Coach says we're joined at the hip, I don't think it's that serious. But (part of my decision relied on) what he was doing."
Is it just me or does Mitch look like he really wanted to go pro and his parents talked him out of it?
He always seems like he doesn't enjoy talking to the media. I think he's just not a terribly charismatic public speaker. I don't think there's any doubt he loves playing (and being a student) at Michigan.
He even holds the mic like he's rapping.
Glad to see these guys back. I wonder if part of them coming back was to move to SF and PF. I'd be interested to know how that went down.
Those who stay...
I was waiting for Mitch to 1) start waving his hand in the air like eminem and 2) say "BIG MITCH, OUT" and just drop the mic after his announcement.
...throw ya fuckin hands up and follow meeee....
I don't know which I like best: GRIII's fully buttoned polo, Beilein's lady-sweater, or McGary's rapper mic-hold
