Video: Epic Score-O at Yost

Submitted by stephenrjking on

Twitter won't embed properly right nowMgoblog couldn't handle a twitter emoji, hopefully now fixed, but this is worth seeing:

On a night where Tyler Motte and Zach Werenski trade goals to open the scoring in the Columbus-Chicago game, where the hockey team wins in the last minute with a shorthanded goal wearing the splendid throwback maize script jerseys, and where the 1996 national title team is honored, the show is stolen by the intermission entertainment.

Marty Turco, Brendan Morrison, and Mike Legg with one more glorious night at Yost Ice Arena.

EDIT: had some embedding trouble, turned out to be an emoji embedded improperly by the twitter code exporter. Fixed. Leaving this up because it's just so cool.

I thought Morrison was going to have it tough following the goalie hitting it from way back. When he answered I thought it was a lot of pressure on legg. When leggs first shot was the overhand throw, I figured he'd hit it normal next time. I have no idea how he made that shot after moving back. Awesome moment. The short handed game winner was sweet too

That was the coolest thing i have ever seen in person at Yost and i was there for JMFJ's slap shot that took the BC goalie's mask off and for Carl's senior night miracle.

and had to check it out. Epic doesn't even do that justice. Who will ever forget Mike Legg's puck pickup goal and the amazing hockey run in the 90's. That was better than watching those trick shots on You Tube.
