Per multiple reports

Pistons should make a run at him, right??

Trey is probably feeling better now, than the last time he trending on twitter

I hope he fits in somewhere. His game just hasn't translated to the pros. And I siill remember when this here blog criticized Dumars for not drafting him. That's why we aren't coaches or GMs.

Truth of the matter is the only reason he's still with Utah is because Exum blew out his knee last year. However, by the end of last year he was a consistent DNP coaches decision. He will be traded or cut. Either way, we shouldnt expect to see him in Utah next year.

I love Trey. He's one of Michigan's all-time great PGs. But he is not a prototypical NBA PG. I think he'd be better off playing overseas. Whatever happens, I wish him all the best. He deserves it for helping ressurect Michigan back into the national spotlight.

I'm not sure how much of a market there will be for Trey at this point. At his size, he's likely to always be a negative defender, and his offensive game, either as a scorer or distributor, hasn't come around to a level to be a plus on that end either. Perhaps a team with a lot of draft assets in the future, like Philadelphia or Orlando, might be willing to take a one-year flyer on him if they can pry him away for a protected second rounder.

I wouldn't go after him, unless he's willing to come off the bench.  He was great at UM, but he's a high-volume, low-efficiency PG in the pros.  There's a value in that, but with below-average defense Burke isn't a high-value FA.  I'd rather the Pistons try to get a bigger backup PG and see if Stanley Johnson is ready for more playing time.

I don't know how to feel about Trey.  He just hasn't proven that he's an average NBA player yet.  I hope he improves as a shooter, because it's really bumming me out.

If Jameer Nelson can make it happen for 12 seasons, Burke should be able to, as well.
