It will be interesting to see how the Playoff Committee considers Wisconsin when they are undefeated going into the B1G Championship. Their schedule;

Utah State, FAU, BYU, NW, Neb, Purdue, MD, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota. We will potentially be the closest thing to a signature win......

Forget about advanced stats. OSU got beat down at home by OU, ND barely lost to UG. ND soundly won @ MSU and destroyed USC. OSU's only comparable win would be beating down Nebraska. I also have no reason to expect ND to lose either of those games. And I have no reason to expect OSU will beat PSU.

We will see, but large amounts of data would suggest that Urban isn't losing another home game this year, and that Notre Dame isn't going to finish the job. If PSU wins in Columbus and Notre Dame wins out I will gladly admit to the board that I was wrong and CLion is much wiser.

I'm just saying that ND's resume is better. They are lower rated because of poll inertia. I also wouldn't bet against PSU right now vs any team other than Bama and maybe Georgia. Winning in Columbus is a tough task but after last night I'd say 50/50.

So somehow USC is still ranked after losing way worse and having the same record? Interesting. Also last week we were punished for struggling to beat Indiana on the road, but MSU gets a bump for struggling to beat Indiana at home.

Obviously we're not very good and we were humilated last night, but I still feel we should be ranked.

The only "quality" win is vs. Florida. Had Indiana's offense not crapped out on a drive inside the MSU 10 up 6-3 and scored a TD, maybe MSU would have lost and our win there may have meant a bit more.

Iowa State has a quality win at Okie. Deserves to be ahead of us.

Michigan now is fifth in Total Defense and tied for 97th with Middle Tennessee in Total Offense among all FBS teams. LINK

For comparison, Penn State is 27th in Total Offense and ninth in Total Defense. LINK  Wisconsin is 28th in Total Offense and sixth in Total Defense. LINK  Ohio State is third in Total Offense and 16th in Total Defense. LINK

Among other Big Ten teams, Iowa (103), Minnesota (105), Maryland (115), Illinois (119) and Rutgers (122) are worse than Michigan in Total Offense; only Michigan State (fourth) is ranked higher in Total Defense.

It sure is nice to see that you have written off the possiblity of a win against the Badgers. This team has month to improve before that game. It's not as if we don't have a chance

I also expect to see Don Brown adjust to mismatches by finding defensive packages that can contain big, explosive players. Zone packages can help to mitigate the advantages that tall receivers have.

Love to hear someone ask Harbaugh about not being ranked then him going off poetically how it doesn't matter one rat shit what the media thinks. All that matters is W's and the playoff committee. #Truth and just awesome.

More fire from Harbaugh is needed. I know refs are “cracking down” on coach behavior, but we already get penalized much more than our opponents for whatever reason. Idk where year one Harbaugh went, but I want him back.

Why is Michigan ranked at all?  The team that played last night is undoubtedly not one of the 25 best in the country.  And Michigan will need to materially improve for it to have a chance of being true before year end.

FWIW, in the AP Poll after Week 9 last season, Michigan was ranked 7-0 and was the #2 team in the nation. Penn State was 5-2 and #24. So, things can change pretty quickly.
