I remember prior to the 2015 game I predicted that you’d see Peppers finally touch the ball on offense and we did. Some things are fairly predictable.

Agreed. It would have been good to get JJ more than 19 passes through 7 games. This is something we are going to look back on as a negative for this year if Cade gets pulled in one of our bigger games or gets injured.

He should have 50-60 more snaps. No reason for not playing him more. We have been comfortably ahead in most games to inferior competition.

You are using a fan's lens. Fans always long for the backup. From the Coach's lens, I would assume they recognize that Cade has very few snaps under his belt so the more snaps and reps with live rounds, the more prepared the STARTER is for the game. Cade needs the live action more than JJ if Cade is the starter. That is likely why JJ has had less mop up duty. The Villari Special had a bit too much play time early on, that is where JJ may have garnered some snaps.

100% agree. I think the coaches are more in tune to make this decision. There is a reason why JJ has been in every game this year and that is to get a true freshman more comfortable playing QB for a power 5 college program. There will be a time when we need him and he will start, but I do not think that time is this week.
