I will not name names, but I did have a short chat with the person behind Groot (I have connections, of course - it was a redress of an existing account) and he has said that he will quit this, so I hope that the remainder of the night is Groot-free for everyone. The way things occasionally happen around here, this has given inspiration to someone with less humorous intentions, so we strive to put a cap on such things.

Those hoops were awfully shaky after every dunk.  Looked like they might fall over.  In relevant matters, I thought there was pretty good ball movement in the sample we got.  I liked the flow.

competition is obviously very weak but i loved the frosh big man 32 going up aggressively.  nice to see him transition and finish on the break but i really liked the very last clip where 32 flushed it from under the basket.  looks like bigs going up soft wont be an issue with him

was Irvin catching the ball on the wing and taking it all the way to the rack then finishing with the left. I don't think I saw him do that one time last year. He might prove that...... wait for it....... he's not just a shooter.

Bacari may have had some flashbacks there, it looked a lot like the Globetrotters vs. the Generals. Having watched a pretty good Michigan team getting taken to the wire by Concordia a few years back...There was a lot to like there.

It's probably too much to hope for that the same camera man will be in Vicenza today. Sounds like it's about a 4hr drive.

some AAU squad playing on a slippery floor with some practice refs in shorts, not much of a first test, but it is nice to see the guys work the ball around and take it to the hoop.

More challenging competition will only make them better.

They looked a little tentative in their passing and cuts but, of course, it's hard to dissect their performance when all you get are highlights. Still, nice to see some of the new guys and watch Spike and others score lefthanded layups.
