Players were allowed to speak to reporters after practice and spent much of it talking up the freshmen:
Both De'Veon Smith and Drake Johnson both mentioned Chris Evans as sticking out.

Coach had a poster that showed all of his scholarships = 50% got drafted....but that was at San Diego n developing Stanford...at Michigan he'll get 75% of his scholarships to NFL...he just knows NFL talent n how to develop it

They can be used to counteract an overaggressive pass rush, but they can also work well if the defense drops back against a downfield pass. We got a lot of first downs that way on RB screens during the Carr era.
