Can't really hate on the parents of a kid being happy for their son.

Good luck against Charlton, Wormley, Glasgow, Gary, Mone, and Hurst, kid.

This

was my wallpaper when I was still a teenager. Awesome stuff.

Not really worth it

Not really worth it considering there are 9,000 mobile resolutions. Download the full image and crop it in your phone.

This reminds me, someone really needs to make a hype video with Mase's "Welcome Back"

ha, I knew this would be one of the first comments.

I wanted to use one of the many new Jordan images, but I couldn't find high-res versions. Plus an in-game shot is always better than a photo shoot, right?

If only.

If only.

Can't believe I didn't know

Can't believe I didn't know about this guy when we inked him.

He has the potential to go in

He has the potential to go in the middle rounds if all things go his way in 2016. That said, he's not that scheme versatile or athletic, so the middle rounds are his absolute ceiling.

Could have upwards of 4 first

Could have upwards of 4 first round picks depending on how Butt, Charlton, Wormley and Lewis all play this season. Won't help us in 2017, but 10+ wins and an elite draft class will pretty much guarantee that we stay near the top of recruiting rankings for a long time.

I was legitimately shocked

I was legitimately shocked when he started to gas in the 2nd. Shocked and convinced he was about to get rocked yet again.

I'd like to see this same study done on linebackers' tackle rate with experience.

I did it to myself.

I'm afraid Andrew chose the wrong time to transfer. Hoke is gone, and the curse of transferred players being granted double ability has been lifted.

Well done

Love the fade and slight offset in color between the helmet and the background in the first image.

If only I could get negged back into being a virgin and try that all over again, too.

Earning my 100th MGoPoint

Earning my 100th MGoPoint with this post is like losing my virginity to the fat girl next door. Did it finally happen? Yes. Am I immediately regretting it? Also yes.

Let's turn one of the many

Let's turn one of the many atrocious threads around:

It doesn't matter that O'Connor won the MSU job; all three candidates stink of mediocrity. Michigan State will struggle to move the ball against elite defenses this season, and that should make us all a bit happier.

K/P and fullback are about

K/P and fullback are about the only positions I don't mind seeing walk-ons playing, although the latter is definitely a scholarship type of position under Harbaugh.

AND STILL I SUFFER MOOOOOORE

AND STILL I SUFFER MOOOOOORE

I was having a bad day and

I was having a bad day and clicked on this with hopes of a turnaround.

BUT NO. I ONLY SUFFER MORE.

It was definitely razor close. Nate had the only It was definitely razor close. Nate had the only truly dominant round, and Conor was literally running from him for chunks of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th. He would've been penalized for that under the old rules. Conor won the 1st with relative ease, won a contested 2nd, then got smashed in the 3rd (the only round given a 10-8 by any judge). It was so close that many believed Nate's last-second takedown had decided the contest.
The variability is the

The variability is the downside of the sport. Sometimes you get a 13-second KO, other times you get a 5-round bombfest.

I do believe the quality of fights will pick up as the sport grows. There's an immense amount of pressure on superstar fighters like Conor and Nate to perform in these kinds of fights, if only because the UFC currently has select few stars to lean on. The hope is that a few more Conors come out of the woodwork with the rise in MMA's popularity.

I used to be all about

I used to be all about watching cards on the cheap, but $60 really isn't much if you can get a few friends to come over and split the cost. In the case of 202, you get 4 stoppage fights and one of the greatest fights ever.

The funny thing is, Diaz

The funny thing is, Diaz would've won had this same exact fight taken place just a few months earlier. Scoring rules were recently changed so that ring control and forward pressure only count if total striking and grappling are dead even. In this case, Conor out-punched Nate in 3 of 5 rounds and took the decision.

Because of this, Conor was able to duck out time and time again in order to regain energy. Diaz was absolutely controlling the fight from the 2nd round on, but Conor won the game.

Midway through the firs round

Midway through the firs round I thought Conor had the perfect plan and the tank to go 5 rounds.

Midway through the second I thought holy shit this is the same exact fight and Conor is gassing out.

From there it was HOW ARE EITHER OF THESE MEN STILL ALIVE?

Going for a real sleeper here

Sean McKeon is being lost in the hype of Butt, Bunting, and Wheatley. I think he'll get some run this year, and most people are going to be surprised by his combination of size and athleticism. He has the physical skill set to be a truly balanced and potentially dominant tight end.

Beating the man who handed

Beating the man who handed you your only UFC loss is something to gain. His hype train regains steam if he wins tonight.

And Diaz might be a top 5 lightweight, but the gap between him and the top of that division is massive. RDA straight clobbered him; Khabib would be able to take him down and strong-arm him with ease; Alvarez just bombed RDA and has a much more impressiv record.

McGregor.
The "Diaz came off

McGregor.

The "Diaz came off the couch for the first fight" argument is being overplayed. Conor was prepared for a 2-round KO contest, and Diaz was preparing for an actual triathalon. I honestly think this will be the first time we've seen Conor looking prepared to go the distance, and that's scary considering how lethal he's been in the past.

All that said, Nate knows he's going to be outboxed on the feet, and he's capable of ending it with a submission at any time if he can bring the fight to the mat. It's definitely worth the buy.

I haven't seen anything that

I haven't seen anything that says he's pulled away, but people seem to be leaning toward him when asked who leads. Both Lorenz and Webb believe Speight would start if the decision were made today, and that's telling.

I've been waiting for a Mike MIKE.

I know we have select few

I know we have select few scraps to dig through regarding the QB battle, but damn it feels like Speight is creating separation between himself and his competition.

Can we not be overly concerned about the usage of an extremely common scouting term?

What intel points to the OL

What intel points to the OL "more than holding their own"? So far it seems the staff is high on overall depth of the unit but is still concerned about the LT position.

Our defensive line is a proven commodity. Assuming Mone comes back strong and Glasgow is 90%+ his old self, there's no reason why it isn't one of the five best fronts in the country.
