for today, good bye
for tomorrow, good luck
forever, go blue
Nice board by Eso. He seems to have some bulk and toughness (in the two minutes he's played).
Everytime they say that kid's name, all I can think is derka derka jihad
O-H-I-O: Because the "YMCA" wasn't gay enough.
MAKE THE DAMN FREE THROWS
i think MAKE YOUR DAMN FREETHROWS should be the equivalent to HOLD ON TO THE DAMN BALL
“The blue in our ribbons may fade, our trophies may become tarnished, the gleam of our medals lose luster, but the emotional experiences of joy and elation will never be forgotten.”
ugh i dont know whats more frustrating the offensive rebounds we're giving up or the missed free throws
Is it me or does Vogrich give up on shots way too early. There's been a couple offensive rebounds to his area when he's already vacated to the defensive side. I guess I can't blame him for getting on defense, especially with the 4 or 5 easy passes to a wide open guy we've already given up.
So I thought Cronin had a great defensive stretch when he was on the court that last shift. He was playing really physical with the inside guy for Utah. Looked really good in the post. He wasn't very quick getting down the floor, but once he was there, he had some solid coverage.
Manny's got to stop with the fadeaway 18-footers. That's not his shot.
Honest question: When was the last time Michigan was a good rebounding team? I'm thinking, and I can't come up with any team in the last 10 years that wasn't weak on the boards.
This team could do so much in the transition game if they could only pull down a few boards here and there. Or capitalize on shooting badly from the perimeter by putting in some easy buckets inside off the rebound.
they type of offense we play you are not going to get many rebounds typically. But i cant remember the last team either though
Seriously, it's time to play D. That's the ugliest transition yet. We had the guys there and just didn't do anything.
when Anthony Wright is on the floor.
I don't think this is a coincidence.
whoo free throws
“The blue in our ribbons may fade, our trophies may become tarnished, the gleam of our medals lose luster, but the emotional experiences of joy and elation will never be forgotten.”
This is just painful...horrible defense and defensive rebounding, missed layups, missed free throws.
Looks like a 6-loss non-conference season at best at this point.
If he is sick as well. Because he just seems completely out of it.
This year, at least, Douglass has been pretty bad. The missed layups are just inexcusable.
I am baffled by the amount of minutes he has been getting.
I think Stu is the third best player on this team. His assist to turnover ratio is excellent, he's the most competant ball handler at the point, and his defense is pretty solid. I can't explain the whole issue of the shooting specialist not being able to hit the broad side of a barn, but I think he is far from awful.
oh my god watch this game he is terrible please take him out of the game he dribbles off his foot and can't make a shot of any kind he misses three pointers and layups he sucks
Say what you will about his gameplay, but at least he uses punctuation and capitalization.
He's not that bad, he just isn't a drive the lane type player in my view. Unfortunately, he's been trying to drive the game too much this season trying to create something.
i've never once seen him use capitalization or punctuation.
yeah he's not the "drive the lane type player." he's the "shoot the three" type player. and obviously he's not very good at that either.
it's not personal, i just don't want to see him getting the kind of minutes he's getting.
please play some defense and stop throwing the ball away, this team has become very frustrating
we started the half out playing good defense; and that kind of foiled away... started shooting the ball well too and then hit a spell - - anyone else feel like the offense was out of sync in the last 10-12 minutes of the half...
gametracker shows 10 offensive boards for utah, 11 second chance points, and 6 fast break points in the first half. and we are being outrebounded 22-9...
uh goaltending?

"So you're telling me there's a chance. Yeah!" -- Lloyd
Absolutely nothing comes easy for this team.
Some serious home cooking to go with our continuing lethargy.
I have always felt as though we should all consider putting a little more penetration into our lives.
I can only continue to reference the fact that I live in an onion factory.
thats a terrible blocking foul call on gibson - he was well outside of the circle - so at least a charge drawn, but then to give him nba continuation is even more crap

Back in it, only down 3. C'mon, boys!

(and recover his free throw stroke)
My Hart Will go on
So is Manny's strategy to make a bunch of wacky shots, steals, rebounds and miss free throws?
freshmen guard from Utah = dorky wisc QB and Michigan is making them look like pro prospects
can anyone with dvr confirm if that was a legit block or if it was goaltending? i couldnt tell on the online feed and from the crappy camera angle.

It's weird how late the delay is on DishNetwork. @MichiganDailySports is posting updates at least 3-4 minutes before I see them.
