UM Students Get Access to Full Coursera Catalogue for Free
This access was already available for any course created by Michigan, but this opens it up to all of the courses on the Coursera platform. Some great courses on there covering pretty much all subject areas.

I've audited a few Coursera courses and taken two for "credit" they're as good as many college classes other than the one-on-one personal interaction with a TA or Professor. For a motivated learner there are online resources to tackle almost any subject. I'm sure some sciences, theater, etc. are difficult.... Unfortunately college is going to be an outdated concept in the future unless it evolves.
If you just need a valid umich.edu email address, does that mean graduates who still have their email from college forwarded to them can register as well?
Pretty sure that umich.edu emails are validated according to status in the UM system, which would keep track of your affiliation (student, alumni, faculty/staff) and prevent that.
That being said, the courses created by UM that are on Coursera (as well as edX and Futurelearn) are available to all alumni, faculty and staff for free though Michigan Online.
Currently taking Intro to Thermodynamics thru Coursera. 35 years since calculus is making it hard.
Kahn academy has a good calculus class that would get you a refresher on the basics pretty quick. (33 years for me).
Khan Academy is the reason I passed high school calc at all. Amazing product. I had great teachers as well, I just refused to accept that math was not my calling until college math kicked my teeth in.

I like it, as there is a lot of interesting courses on any topic. I think it's one of the most helpful resources for students, as in some cases, I also use https://edubirdie.com/book-movie-review-writing and free online libraries. I often visit this platform when I need to get help with writing some reviews on books/movies, as these resources provide a lot of unique materials.

That is great news I have seen in the 2020 year, after the COVID this is happy news for me that the University of Michigan takes the best step for the students who really need to study and this Coursera initiative is really amazing.
I also definitely enroll myself in their courses. Last year I completed my digital marketing certification from the London School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania. I am really thankful to the Coursera website and the universities that give this type of opportunity to needy students.

I totally agree with Mical every university takes this type of initiative for student's benefit, I am also a student at the University of London and I really need on my writing a dissertation, and your website DissertationProposal is really helping me out to complete my dissertation.

Managing a full-time job and a major in IT, it gets super difficult to give enough time to the studies. This is when I need external help to complete my academic work and have a full-fledged understanding about it. Although, Khan Academy comes on the top for me when it comes to video tutorials but Coursera comes right after that. Their courses like IT automation with python were of great help for me. Because I don’t get enough time to do my essays and assignments, I, also often, pay to write my essay for me UK-natal writers who’re willing to. They help me in doing my assignments and saves me an ample amount of time.

It's great that UM students now have free access to the entire Coursera catalog. This provides them with the opportunity to learn valuable skills and gain knowledge in a wide variety of fields, which can help them succeed in their academic and professional careers.
