UA All America Noon EST, ESPN2

It could be almost as good a day for Michigan as yesterday! Any wavering recruits were obviously not discouraged by the performance against the SEC East Champion Gators.
Set to announce:
http://usatodayhss.com/2016/under-armour-all-america-game-looking-at-th…
Getting Delance and Davis on board will put Michigan well on it's way to develping the monster OL classes like Stanford has produced. Christian McCaffrey is a unique talent, but those holes he was running through were sizeable. Kareem Walker must be licking his chops.
Hopefully, the game will coincide with a PSU throttling of Georgia, and Nauta leaning Blue as well!
Go Blue!

It takes a minute to load. I'm not sure if the numbers are accurate, because there are no teams listed and such.

The QB play in this game is awful...the Army game should be a much better football game.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:20 PM ^
Gary owns Jean Delance on that play.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:20 PM ^
There's Mr. Gary. #55 White.

Good lord Gary is the real deal

Davis to Maryland.

Maryland

Terrance Davis to Maryland. No surprise.

Terrance Davis to Maryland. They are building a OLine of some highly rated Linemen over the past couple classes

So it doesn't surprise me at all.

We all knew he was going to Maryland. The word was that we preferred Delance because we wanted an OT.
You also have DJ Durkin and Mike London, the former UVA head coach on that staff. I'm happy for him, he goes somewhere where he's very comfortable with the coaching staff.
Mike Locksley was also retained on Durkin's staff. 3 ACE recruiters. They've got a REALLY nice staff!

Nice throw by Malik Henry right there...

Pretty amazing Houston got Ed Oliver. #10 overall and looking like a beast.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:33 PM ^
His brother goes there.
After their preformance against Florida State and with Herman's new contract Houston is becoming the new trendy Texas school

Missing on Delance and Davis is going to be a slight stitch in an otherwise great recruiting year
:smh:

Michigan has been getting tons of talent from the area and was the primary team for him for ever. No mention at all?
Sounds like mom wanted him close to home too.

Poggi? Countess? Who am I forgetting? Furman?
Penn St. has always had much more of an impact than us in the DMV area.
It wasn't a slight.

D.Prince, Derwin Grey, and now the '16 additions of R.Merrit and Davis. Maryland has some high potential along their OLine.
Now if they can hold onto a big time QB in Haskins, it looks like Maryland & DJ Durkan could be building something.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:31 PM ^
REALLY liking what I'm seeing from Malik Henry, I really think this is going to be a VERY strong QB class with Henry, Haskins and the 5 guys in the Army game.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:32 PM ^
The only real question about Malik Henry, IMO, is about his attitude/behavior. I think he'll fit right in at FSU...
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:37 PM ^
Ooooh, he's one of THOOOSE guys. Got it.
Does sound like a good fit then. I was wondering what they meant by "the well traveled Malik Henry."
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:39 PM ^
Yep. He transferred from CA to IMG Academy at one point...and then things happened...and then he transferred to a different school in CA. The opening at QB for IMG Academy allowed Shea Patterson (Ole Miss commit) to transfer in from Louisiana and be their QB this year.

Where do those kids live? They just live in dorms and go to a prep school like college?
And who do they play? Seems like an unfair advantage. I suppose I could just look this up. I'll look it up, tomorrow.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:46 PM ^
To be honest, I've got a huge post in my drafts talking about IMG Academy. I just haven't had time to finish it quite yet.
But yes, they live in dorms, and they play elite teams from around the country (well, mostly the East Coast).
January 2nd, 2016 at 1:34 PM ^
What do they learn academically?

Did Harbaugh ever attempt to recruit Haskins? You would think he was prime given Maryland's struggles.
Kid looks good.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:39 PM ^
Yes, he did. It never amounted to much, though. We had a shot when Upshur looked like a Michigan lean, because Upshur/Haskins are close. But we saw what happened with that situation.
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:35 PM ^
What do you think more people are watching? This or the MBB game?
January 2nd, 2016 at 12:37 PM ^
I'm mainly watching the bball game, but checking here on commercials. It's not fair they're on at the same time. Also PSU's bowl game is on, so sucks to be a Penn State fan.
