TWIS--- So many Buckeye tears

Submitted by Yostbound and Down on

Ah, this is a nice start to the Thanksgiving fixin's.

http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2015/11/25/9799384/this-week-in-schadenfreude-ohio-state

A couple of highlights:

  • "Worst loss in Urban's career."

It's my responsibility to remind you Meyer lost a home game to Houston Nutt.

  • "first thing Urban needs to do is fire his OC, second thing he should do is apologize to all the Buckeye fans that sat in the rain and cold today to see a completely tanked atrocious effort from the team"

"I'm sorry the weather sucked."

  • "Screw firing Warriner, Beck, Ash, and Fickell. How about firing the guy that hired Withers and Beck and cost us a shot at 2 nattys by being beaten by 3 star recruits, who were coached by a guy that knows how to get more out those 3 star recruits than ours does out of 4 and 5 stars. Welcome to goatland Urban. Enjoy your time on the shit list. Thanks for the natty. Better enjoy it. You're gonna need it this off season."

I get it, you a passionate sports fan.

A college football fan.

But your team has gone  48-4 in the past 4 years including an undefeated season and an honest-to-dog National Fucking Championship.

Your team played a crappy game and lost (your first loss nn what 23 games:)  to a top 10 team.

Not gunna repeat . . . sucks but ok.

Very true. The older folk and the younger set, (under 30) are addressing the rivalry from different perspectives. However, old and young Michigan fans alike rejunvenate and gather strength from Buckeye tears.

Oh please let the mountain of Buckeye fans entitlemet be the beginning of the end for Urban. Please let this be the first salvo, with Harbaugh making them collectively freak out so bad that last weekend seems like a walk in the park.

I usually love this feature but not so much this time.

I'm going to try and stay level headed and remind ourselves that we have lost 4 games in 4 years and have a NC (won in spectacular fashion) to go with it.

It could be worse.  I could be a fan of any number of other schools.

You pasted this 80 times. Six more and you would have matched Ohio State's rushing yardage!
Say what you want about the quality of the column this season, but that was gold.

any loss, but this reaction is over the top, yet so  juicy and uproriously pathetic that it boggles the mind how they would have responded to the kind of loss that Michigan suffered to MSU. I'm thinking that life might not be worth living in Columbus had the Buckeyes sustained that kind of loss. And by loss of life, I'm talking serious head hunting. But that's the way it is in O-H-I-O where Schadenfreude is a dish best enjoyed cold. And what's more, the losing frustration is apparently so deep that Tony Gerdemen couldn't even bat out a Michigan Monday column this week, instead spending offering multiple takes on lessons learned in losing to Dantonio, the former defensive architect of their championship defense in 2003. How soon they forget.

Let's all of us, on both sides of the state line, agree that forever Michigan fans will call it a "national championship" and the Ohio State fans will call it a "natty."

My favorite part - "If I was a young offensive recruit visiting, I would be looking elsewhere for a coaching staff that can make me elite. These clowns cannot. They should wear red squeaky noses for the Michigan game."

Now, how fun would that be, if their coaching staff wore red squeaky noses for the Game ? ? ?

Bunch of entitled jerkoffs. They have no idea what true suffering is.

I hope Harbaugh mercilessly pummels that team into the ground. I hope when he's up by 4 TDs, he opts to go for 2 just because he can.

Good Lord.  I hope Michigan fans are never like this in the future.  I get that it was a very disappointing loss, but they are acting like they just lost their 5th or 6th game of the season and haven't won a bowl game in 5 years.

due to their craziness after one loss! If Harbaugh wins a a NC in 2017 and then in 2018 happens to lose a game that keep us out of the playoff, I doubt Michigan fans would go bat shit crazy!
