Travis Hawkins thinking about taking visits
I just talked to Travis Hawkins, and he told me he's thinking about taking more visits. He's currently committed to Maryland, and said he's thinking about WVU and Florida for visits. The bad news for the Terps is that he's on his official visit right now at Maryland, and thinking about visiting other schools. That's not a good sign. We're going to talk more later this weekend, and I'll let you know what else he says.

Break out the wizard hat and snake oil.

I thought he was excited about us early on, but then he committed to the Terps. You think he'll reconsider us or do you think he'll go to one of the newer schools on his list?

Wait, he's still talking to a Michigan-biased reporter guy?
UM LOCK!
(No part of what I just said should be taken seriously, btw)

We could use him - of all the interviews you've done, the kids I've liked the best (based on the single interview) were Travante Stallworth and Hawkins - he seemed like a good kid.

that with M's "depth" chart at CB and LB that there won't be some massive snake erlin' going on in the next three weeks, and possibly beyond (for the few who won't sign a LOI by Feb. 2 or whatever date it is).
Wait, I just realized I assumed Hawkins is a CB or a LB. Is he? I'd look it up myself but I'm too busy masturbating to a mental image of Tim Tebow spiritually feeding syphilitic leprous orphan heathens.
Sincerely,
Thom Brennaman

I don't want to jerk you off or anything (what with you already "taking care of business" thanks to Tebow), but I have NEVER laughed harder at any sentence ever written in the English language (Ask me about the dirty limerick I saw in a Japanese manga sometime, however) than the last line of your post...
hi-freaking-larious!!!

Rivals says he already has planned his last 2 official visits, Florida 1/16, West Virgina 1/23. He's on his third right now with Maryland.
If its true that he's all set with visits...that's kind of a bummer. Would be nice to see him come in for a visit.

If you look more closely at his page on rivals you'll realize he already visited us.

That he visited us and then committed elsewhere isn't really a good sign for us though.
Of course, maybe he'll see the depth chart and realize he'll have a pretty good chance to play, potentially very quickly.

Well, he's not allowed to visit us again. I remember him saying he enjoyed his time here, and if he's talking to a Michigan reporter about it, it could be a sign.
It sounds like he's on his visit to Maryland - in which case he's there, and probably realizes he liked somewhere else better.

his position and recruiting rankings?

He's the #21 cornerback in the country (Rivals).

why would anyone play football at Maryland?

"why would anyone play football at Maryland?"
Donuts. Have you seen their coach lately?

I like their campus. If you have ever been there go to Pizza Romas, you give me some food from there and I am yours.

It's the original Ledo Pizza that really seals the deal.
And Cluck 'U' Chicken.

Crab cakes and football. That's what Maryland does.

I'd dread running a long post pattern in practice, only to trot back to the sidelines while my coach getting the paddles.
"Clear!!"
Come to Michigan. Our coach isn't a fat disgusting slob.
