Transfer Portal for Football
Pardon me if this has been asked before, but is there a way to check the transfer portal to see who is in it and what school they are coming from?
It seems like there are a lot of players in the transfer portal and I would be interested to see who they are.

Two immediate thoughts...that is a TON of QB transfers and I see Kareem Walker is transferring...again.

I know everyone got a free year of eligibility due to COVID, but I'm still amazed at how that kid has any eligibility remaining at all.
This has got to be his sixth year in college. One more year and he might as well go and join the Peace Corps.

How about Shaun Crawford at ND? He is still playing and gets another year. Dude must be close to earning a Ph.D. by now.

Yeah, and he doesn't appear to have played in any games at Miss St., which is pretty surprising. I know he got hurt at some point while at the community college he transferred to, so perhaps he's just not feeling right anymore.

That was the last year I played CFB and holy shit. I cannot imagine someone still has eligibility from that point in time. Seems beyond insane imo.

Fairly certain the official portal is only available to athletic department staff but 247 has an unofficial one based on announcements by players and reporters that is a pretty good analog. See 285matt's post.

Not sure how to do this. Will say we should be looking for CB/DB and DT/DL help, someone who can immediately step in and at the very least be a solid backup. Mike Danna worked out very well for example which helped him make it in the NFL. Win-win.

Sam and Ira were talking about the portal earlier this week on WTKA and they said close to 1200 players at the D I-A level were in the portal.
That's just nuts.
I notice that Rhett Rodriguez is looking to transfer from AZ.

If you just wanna see whose in the portal I would recommend the 247 Transfer Portal. But if you want to get updates and stay up to date with the Transfer Portal I would recommend r/CFB on reddit. The guys on r/CFB always post about new players in the transfer portal and will provide background information on who the player is and there offers coming out of high school.

Since Harbaugh is hoping for an NFL team to pick him, we will be in the transfer portal limbo and all the good players we need will be gone when Harbaugh finds out that no NFL team wants him and he signs the extension and hires some assistant coaches.
