I thought that was your shocked face watching a team with a redshirt freshman QB and a true freshman RB win on the road before the coach has had four-five years to recruit his guys and play them as upperclassmen (the new standard of judgment). Out of curiosity, what face did you have when Arizona beat the fifth ranked Ducks 42-16 last year?

Rich Rodriguez has averaged 7.5 wins per season as an FBS head coach. He is thrououghly mediocre in every way. Sorry.

If we kept waiting for rich rod to get his guys we wouldn't have had an oline or a defense but sure, the last two years of offensive futility due to the line being crap are 100% on Hoke and rich rod would have fixed that.

And that's why they're UTSA. What the hell was that QB thinking there?

What on earth is RR thinking here? Punt the ball.

Wait why did the fumble return not count?

Forward passes, legal or not, are incomplete when they hit the ground.

Can't return an illegal forward pass like a fumble, clock had run out, game over.

last night before turning it to watch the Tigers.
I have to admit I was very disappointed in how RR was treated at Michigan and wanted it to work out in every way. But the end was just too much to take and the Miss State game sealed the deal that it just wasn't going to happen.
Having said all that I've watched with interest his games at Arizona but by now I am fully convinced this man A) has a great offense that can pile up points and yards on anyone B) just doesn't understand what it will take to win big in a big conference. His kids are still too small, and his special teams are just atrocious. They make simple mistakes time and time again on both sides of the ball. He will forever be just a novelty until he understands how important size is to win in the Big 5 conferences.

He needs a great defensive coordinator to be successful, he doesn't care and doesn't focus on d at all. It gets reflected in recruiting and how players respond to him, he would probably be a great oc at a power school.

Rodriguez had a couple of pretty successful years ('99 and '00) as the OC of Clemson before getting the head gig at WVU.
