Plus Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars. What a game! Who doesn't want to see the Jags in primetime.
In regards to the AQ-schools game being less entertaining (I happen to agree), I got to thinking when was the last meaningful Thursday night NCAA game?! I happen to remember some good/great games through the early oughts up to a few years ago. I can't put my finger on the last "must-see" Thursday night game, though. Not this season and not last season, for sure.

You, sir, have never met Gus Malzahn.

One of the better non-BCS teams this year. Been decimated by injuries though with starting QB Kolton Browning out now.

If anyone doesn't remember Oku, he was a highly recruited RB Michigan pursued that committed to Tennessee after Lane Kiffin was hired.

So he was a victim of:

Dustin Hopkins hits a 52 yard FG almost dead center, so it is 3-0 Seminoles after they get stalled at the Virginia Tech 34.
EDIT: Random Hokie special teams player dives across the screen to do something....ESPN doesn't bother to pan over so we could see the point of that move.
DOUBLE EDIT: Logan Thomas throws a 53-yard bomb, and after an incompletion, they are helped out by a defensive PI call. Virginia Tech then nearly does something brilliant with Thomas and running, but alas, a holding call on the Hokies...
TRIPLE EDIT: Oh, what could have been. We had an exchange of FGs instead. 3-3 now. BIG TENNNN! Oh, wait...

but I would like to see these guys become much more so, possibly develop some halftime routines. Also, they should introduce themselves before the games, say what their hobbies are. If it weren't so impersonal fans might not become so antagonistic toward them.

Could work with Denard, no? Fake a throw to the right sideline, run left.

After an unimpressive drive which focused on getting the running game started, the Hokies recover a muffed punt and get a second shot at potentially making this a 10-6 game.
Another rush gets stopped for a loss for VT, and then they manage to get to the FSU 26 to attempt another FG.
...and the FG misses. 6-3 Seminoles still. Frank Beamer is left studying the grass on the sideline.
EDIT: ESPN has some epic play-by-play there..."Option....Manuel....nothing". Right up there with "Fly ball.....caught"

If Derrick Green is watching FSU and VT, he can't be any more excited about either of their rushing offenses than Michigan's.

Wow. An actual TD in this game with under 3 minutes to go in the half. Corey Fuller takes it in on a nice little wheel route mere steps from being out of bounds. 10-6 Hokies. The way defense has been played in this game in concert with the generally Sisyphian effort that getting into the end zone has been, this might be the score for a while now...
....and I was wrong. Nice reception for a TD on virtually non-existent pass coverage. Manuel was 4-4 on the drive. 13-10 Seminoles.

The entire first quarter of the Virginia Tech-Florida St. game was terrible. Or maybe just good defense.....

That was a really weird play. Oh well, c'mon Hokies!

HOKIES! Can they hold for 2:19?

Stupid Florida State. -25 yards rushing for the game and they still win.

Some true facts about Monroe, Louisiana.
-- Has multiple drive-through dacquiri stores within blocks of the campus.
-- Home of the 3d largest phone company in America. (Can you name it?)
-- Earlier in 2012, hosted Miss Teen Louisiana competittion.
Srsly don't know how they can't compete in recruiting with LSU.
