Anyone watching?

Miami is crushing Bethune-Cookman, but the Navy-Memphis game is close. 14-14 at the beginning of the 3rd.

Watching NFL. So. Many. Turnovers.  Vikings have 3 in the first half. Eagles don’t look impressive either.

edit: and now it’s 4 for the Vikings. 7 on the season. Wow.

The Eagles arguably have the best O-line in the game, which certainly helped Swift have his career night. The Vikings were their own worst enemy, with 4 turnovers, one of which gave the ball to the Eagles at around the Minnesota 5-yard line, and another a touchback that looked like it was going in for 7. I wouldn't put the Vikings' chances at the division title to bed just yet. The Eagles are breaking in new Offensive and Defensive coordinators, so they're still working out the kinks. As a Lionsman - is that a word? Spellcheck thinks so - I see two teams capable of beating us if we don't bring our 'A' game.

I’m reading a book about American history from 1865-1900. There’s a section about the cross-continental railroad. The book quotes a Michigan newspaper advocating for the railroad “to unite New-York and the Oregon…”

I wonder if they had known then that this would lead to Rutgers and Oregon being in the same conference, if they would have been so enthusiastic about this endeavor.

Eagles are the team I grew up with and the Lions are my current team. Can’t believe they could be the top two teams in the NFC along with the 49ers.  I would have to root for the Lions if they meet in the playoffs. Lions fans have endured so much crap.
