Texas inability of keeping talent in-state is a problem.

Out of the Ten highest rated players in the state of Texas they only have 3 . When you narrow that to the top 5 they only have one . And Lastly they have zero in the top 3 with our rival having the top 2. Incompetence at getting a actual head coach has created a pipeline from Texas to O$U with us having to face the brunt of the consequence. The same can be said for USC and the Cali pipeline they got going . Thats why I'm hoping the coaching hires actually turn out well for them even though it probably won't based on past history.

Ewers projects to be a great college player, but let's not anoint him the starting OSU QB just yet. First, they have to keep him in the class - recruiting the best player in the nation for his cycle doesn't end until they arrive at the first day of practice these days. OSU also probably has to keep Day from jumping to the NFL in order to keep Ewers. From there, Ewers has to deliver the goods that everyone is expecting from him (to be fair, he looks really fucking good on film).

While I think the most likely scenario is that Ewers will play for Day at OSU, and by a comfortable margin, that is not a complete foregone conclusion.

To a greater point, OSU is always going to be a problem. The culture of Michigan's program needs to match the intensity towards the rivalry if Michigan is going to get a shot a stealing one from them, whether it's Justin Fields, Quinn Ewers, or the next guy.

Lmao I didn't care about the neg . I cared about what they thought about my opinion and why it was wrong and have a discussion.  So you can take that tissue box and use it to fornicate with and then after your do cry about me mentioning a neg .

Good lord! So much to unpack here. You're...suggesting he fuck a box of tissues and contact you to weep about it afterward? I just don't get where you're going with this.

The first rule of MgoPoints is we don't talk about MgoPoints.  You lost a point, deal with it and move on.  You lost more points because you edited your post to complain about losing that point.  You're now more points away from cashing them in at the super-secret gift shop that opens at 1,000 points.  Edit: Now I'm going to lose points because I talked about MGoPoints and I was saving up for the car!

Seems to me that you would rather argue with people who make any resemblance of a remark you disagree with.  The vast majority of your posting history is remarkably confrontational and argumentive.  Also, you may want to get your sarcasm meter calibrated.

Anything good for OSU is bad for UM, so yes, TX not keeping their in state talent and letting it go to OSU sucks.  Although the same can be said for FSU and Miami and to a lesser degree FLA as well as OSU is poaching IMG like gangbusters.  It doesn't help now that IMG's HC is none other than former OSU Pepper Johnson, but such is life :/. Here's to hoping playoff expansion and NIL changes the landscape a bit.

Well, it may be among those who follow recruiting rather voraciously, but some of us are old and try not to snoop about in the lives of kids that aren't ours anyway.

In all seriousness though, it's rather specialized knowledge as sports blogs go, so etiquette typically demands a link as a point of discussion or to augment the discussion.
