Per EJ on Rivals, they want to see him before honoring a commitment and his offer was contingent on him getting to Ann Arbor and coaches seeing him in person.
FWIW, it sounds like Grant's offer at OSU like this...while he could commit to Michigan right now and we'd take him on the spot.
