Tarris Reed decision day!
Tarris Reed makes his commitment decision later this afternoon/evening. Come on down big fella!
Here’s to hoping the hoops team doesn’t suffer the same fate as the football team when it comes to 100% crystal ball picks!

Aside from that, if we get him and finally get Jett to commit we would have the number 2 class.
Last year, we got a couple kicks to the balls (Todd, Christopher). That resulted in a #1 seed and an Elite Eight appearance.
I trust in Juwan and his staff, regardless of what happens today.
Todd was actually committed to us but the Christopher 100% balls all the way until right before he announced was a kick in the nuts. Those were also springtime decisions that we weren’t sure we were getting them anyway.

And may have avoided a bullet by not getting Christopher, but it could also be that Hurley is just a horrible coach.

Totally agree.
Christopher didn't impress me at all at ASU.
Happy with the team as its was - Elite Eight and a rim away from a Final Four is something to be proud of

The DJ Carton recruitment is too fresh in my mind to be confident. Hoops recruiting seems more prone to surprise. Jaylen Brown to Cal is another. Fingers crossed

Keeping faith in MattEM and we hear good news tonight, fans are going to love cheering for Reed over the next few seasons. I love his film and was dreading him going to OSU. So happy he may end up Blue! What a great building block for Howard and staff to work with.

There is more than one spot left in the class and getting a Big is more of the a need than wing.
Sorry,, my comment didn’t seem to go to the right place. I wasn’t referring to Tarris, who I’m completely sold on. I was referring to someone else saying that now we need to make a push for Traore (sp?). I was wondering if after Tarris, shouldn’t we be pushing more for a wing than another big.?

Why hasn’t Jett committed yet? Is he worried about playing time or is he just waiting for the right time to commit? Playing time could be a legit excuse if he did look elsewhere
? He is enjoying the process, have you ever seen He Got Game? He will be a Wolverine…your concern should be Juwan staying after Jett leaves/graduates.
I hope he commits, but I honestly wouldn't blame him if he decided to play elsewhere. A lot of kids go to college to get away from their parents...
I would feel better about this if it wasn't OSU and MSU we're up against. Not that UM isn't the better school/option/coach, but those schools have a history of telling recruits to string us along.
