Between the fumbling and the turnovers, at least Georgia Southern and Arkansas State have figured out ways to control the time of possession which do not involve long, calculated drives - you simply have to run a few plays and then creatively cough up the ball.

Targeting is the worst rule in sports. There's no way to stop from hitting a qb who ducks his head and you get tossed from a game. If this is going to be a penalty, at least give a warning or something before the ejection.

I mentioned this before, but I'd much rather watch 10AM MACtion games on Saturday mornings than Game Day. Breakfast tailgates might be a little rough for their fans, but worst-case scenario, they'd have the whole afternoon to sleep it off and start partying again.

I like gameday...because I don't have to pay attention.

I rarely do anything during live football (unless it's something like tonight). Gameday allows me to get the tailgate going or if I'm home I can do stuff around the house.

It's good background noise. Gone are the days where I sit and watch 3 hours of coverage like I would a Michigan game.

I just put it on and get the day started.

...plus I like the mid-week games. Ain't shit else on TV. Spread it out some, don't have to have a full Saturday, I already stay up until 2am watch the late Pac-12 games.
