That has always been the case (Denard?). I don't think our recruiting profile in the State of Florida will rise or fall due to the Harbaugh hire (aside from the general positive impact of having a rockstar coach, which will be felt everywhere).

the first weekend of harbaugh. I think he's headed to the Noles from what I've heard, but would be awesome to get him. He's been quiet recently

since according to Rivals he hasn't taken an OV. Durkin's recruiting him but I'm not buying the Michigan angle. It would be quite the change in direction.

but he camped there last summer, took 2 unofficials this fall, and the FSU coaches have made 4 in home visits in the past 2 months.

Given all that, choosing Michigan seems even more unlikely but you never really know when it comes to recruiting. Crazy shit happens on NSD every year.

Recruitniks always say if it's close and no one's really sure, it's almost always going to the school in the home state.
Just like the kid last night picking between M and Florida. I went to his Rivals page: hometown, Gainesville. Not coming.
He's 100% cb'd to FSU. It would be great, the kid looked huge (tall) from his pictures during the visit. But this does seem like a "need another hat" thing.
