Sometimes When You're On
I was watching the video this morning, like I did every Saturday morning in the Fall, and my 3 yr. old came into the room holding her M jersey. "Is it game day Daddy?" She asked. I just shook my head and said, "I wish it was Sweetheart, I wish it was." Its going to be a long 7 months...

Awwwwww :]
I was at the hockey game last night, and a guy in the upper boxes across from us was lifting up his 2 or 3 year old daughter on every "Hail" in the Victors... also really cute :]

My five yo daughter spilled the beans this morning and told me I'm getting a Michigan hat for my birthday. She promised to sing me the Victors when I put it on. Hopefully she will be the 4th generation to attend Michigan. Proud to be a Michigan grad.

The first time I saw that video Brian posted, I literally burs into tears when the color came on and music exploded. I care that deeply for Michigan Football.

I think I missed the video. Mind posting it?
Agree with the above. Season seems so far off. My one-year old was whipping around his Michigan football this morning and screaming "touchdown". Can't wait to take him to the spring game.

and burst into tears, too.
The song is pretty much a theme song for my life. I got a new cell phone a couple weeks ago and Better Son/Daughter is now also my alarm in the morning. It's a perfect alarm song because of its soft/slow start! 3

I keep the Capital One Bowl win over Florida on my DVR and play it when I am having severe withdraws. My 10 year old girl came in the man-cave as I was watching and said Daddy is that the "bad" team? (knowing we dont even say the words Ohio State in my house) I explained that it was Florida and she says to me...that figures, the Blue teams QB (Florida in home jerseys) is way to cute to be on the bad team.

Jesus, I'm going to miss Minor and how much violence he brought every time he touched the ball. So unfair that he spent half his career banged up.
So hoping that Hopkins steps into that role.

They absolutely need to use this song again for this year's video.

for all the fathers/mothers here. My wife and I are expecting our first in mid-to-late April.

Every time Michigan scores a touchdown, either my 6 year old son or 3 year old son will run into the kitchen and play the Hail To The Victors song from my bottle opener.

For all of us who suffered through that first year of the Coach Rodriguez era, the video will forever encapsulate the struggles, the fight, and the unreached potential of that year, as well as the glimmers of what the future could hold. Definitely bittersweet.

we should sing/play that song. If you're on T.V., be a good daughter or son and say, "really, really On..."

It is so fitting, and emotional. It is the perfect match.

Are you a member of the Michigan basketball team by any chance?
