Enough of the Urban dickriding, I’m fucking sick of seeing shit from this scumbag on the message board. He’s a former OSU coach and world-renowned douchebag. Find something better to post

“How about just not commenting if you don’t like the content?”

pot, kettle.

dude was undefeated against UM but is a walking case study for racist, misogynistic, adulterous, attention-seeking behavior - all at the cost of winning football games. It’s likely that his kids and wife hate him.

How about we focus more attention on showing some appreciation for our very own James Joseph Harbaugh? The one who stayed, took a huge pay cut on the chin, donated his EARNED incentives back to the AD to support employees in need, has never been caught on camera in a bar groping a woman half his age, and is by and large regarded as a family man and an upstanding model of the institution we all love.

but yeah sure let’s post another article about beedy-eyed Urban

This is true, I did not like your comment and chose to let you know about it rather than moving on with my life. The 30 seconds I took to tell you this, I will not get back, and I am ok with that. Though I will say, once you comment on a thread, you are welcoming comments to your comment. Which is a little different than telling someone "stop posting this because I don't find it interesting". But, hey, you got me, I am the kettle.

How about just not commenting if you don't like the content...?

If that's the logic, why don't people start making posts when they fart or are constipated?  I mean if you don't like the content, don't comment!  I agree with the above poster.  There have been far too many threads about Urban Meyer on the board recently.

The internet is exhausting, and I have time to kill before making dinner, so here goes.

Threads that are actually stupid and pointless get deleted pretty quickly by our mods. This OP is neither of those things, it actually continues to showcase the douche canoe that Urban Meyer will always be. My simple suggestion is that if you don’t want to read about Urban Meyer or don’t care about him, then don’t comment. Not a difficult concept to grasp for most. I don’t like Talking Cars Tuesday, so I just don’t comment on the thread. Commenting on something to tell the OP or blog to stop “dickriding” and that your pressed about the number of Urban threads recently is just pointless. His downfall will continue to be reported, televised and blog worthy. If it wasn’t, it would get deleted. Game, set, point, match. Scott. Game over.

Totally agree. I have a routine getting through the sports information sites, and this is a good stop for obscure relevant information. None of the other sites I had visited noted this, so thanks to the OP for the information.

I now see CBSSports.com is now reporting it on its front page, so it is obviously newsworthy and not just my opinion. Those that see it as frivolous and unnecessary content just move on.

He's scum.  I hate "cancel culture" when someone makes a mistake or screws up, but in cases like Urban Meyer who has a lifetime of missteps and being a general POS, would be great to never see his smug mug again.

Given we value winning and talent above all else in this country, I fully expect him to be back in a broadcast (he was good on FOX) and potentially CFB head coaching position in a couple years after the stink wears off a bit.

That said, player empowerment per NIL and transfer portal may ensure that he'll never achieve the same success again, even if given another CFB gig.

Nothing cracks me up more than college football coaches, known for being some of the most anal and controlling people in the world, claiming they had no idea or input on a presentation being made by some member of their staffs.  Urban Meyer forced guys on his staff he just hired this year to explain to him why they weren't losers and justify their existence, yet he let some underling create a presentation about team rules without input?  Seems about right.

Consistent with the Urban Meyer playbook: First deny, then obfuscate and ultimately delay.  In the meantime, try to bury all the evidence.  Looks like he couldn’t make all the witnesses go away in this case.

The guy appears to be a malignant narcissist. He lies without any internal dilemma because he believes that is the best thing for him - and that is the only ethical code that matters to him.

Great recruiter, motivator and in-game coach.  Not so great human being.
