Snowflakes: Offense

Say anything about offense here!

Say more things about Q1 and Q4 and not Q2 and Q3 :DDDDD

Snowflakes to me are very much about analyzing what it means for later.

But there is no tomorrow. No next week.

This is a national championship offense.

It’s not a hope. It’s a statement of fact.

Q1 and Q4 were the game plan. Misdirection, play action passing, and just a touch of timely QB running to keep the defense honest. Q2 & Q3 were the antithesis of our effective offense this year, trying to much "smart" stuff. The stuff them in a locker approach and then punish the LBs for overplaying is the most Harbaugh way to win a game in the history of Harbaugh games.

It wasn’t pretty, but in the end it was beautiful. McCarthy should come back. I don’t think he’s quite ready for the NFL and another year would do him good. If he does come back, they could find themselves back here again next year.

First; Kudos to Donovan Edwards with 2 "House Calls" on two carries in the 1st quarter, I am so happy for him.

Next, the run game worked. JJ made key plays with his feet. That woke up the offense in the second half.

They grinded their way to victory.

Gonna collect my karma here because I was feeling very validated by this take (from UW FFFF) in the first half:

Once again I am calling for a Donovan Edwards game (please). Those holes that Texas got on their DTs should be the type of truck lanes that Dono can punish.

Its been like 30 minutes, where's my Offense UFR so I can relive this?

Washington's defense played well above their weight today, but the Michigan Offense didn't make any real mistakes today.  If not for an AMAZING play by that linebacker on the 4th down in the 2nd quarter, Michigan probably takes a daunting 24-3 lead into halftime and the game's already all but over.

The game was won once Edwards had his second TD. The hundreds of posts in the game thread  collapsing on the fainting couch clutching their pearls need to grow a pair.

Thank you O Line, Thank you Blake for coming back and having such a big heart and great season.  Thank you Donovan and JJ.  Clutch performances.  Great team chemistry all year.  Really fun to watch everyone  on team 144 earn this National Championship.
