Gorgeous Borges will be back next season. He called a great game today. You can say whatever you want about him, but no OC would have been any better the way the line played all year.

The line was not that much better today. They simply were not set up for failure like they were in previous games. When OSU blitzed Michigan still had problems. What changed was Borges, he used screen's which kept OSU from blitzing every play. Had he done this all year or at the very least after the MSU debacle, Michigan's record would show it.

41 points is the most against Ohio State since 1946.
I think 603 yards might be the most against Ohio State ever. Can anyone confirm? The '46 team had 511.
There doesn't seem to be a boxscore around for 1902. Fifteen touchdowns probably mean there were more than 600 yards, but who knows....

Top 3 things to improve are still, how to throw the ball away vs the inside rush, not turning a 5-8 yard sack into a 15 yard loss, and not fumbling.
If those young receivers can become good next year, DG could really have a special year

Borges's fate was already sealed going into this game, I think. And I think he needs to move on. That said, he called an overall good game today. The throw-back screen on the last drive to get into the red zone was just a great, great call. Not sure about the two-point conversion call. And the first-down runs up the middle on the last two sets of downs on the second-to-last drive fooled no one. Those were the kind of wasted downs that characterized too much of this season. As with ND, Devin performed magnificently in spite of the offensive game plan in many cases. His improvisation led directly to at least three of our TDs. Great job by our offense today. Fire Borges.

agree on Al's fate. The throwback plays worked great. Because it was setup by great plays keeping the defense guessing the whole day. Not being used/called out of despiration because nothing else was working, like when we called on this play throughout Oct/Nov.

Was I the only one who REALLY felt like he was getting a good look at what Green shall be capable of for the FIRST time this game?
I like what I see out of Green. He'll be OUR Carlos Hyde soon.

Borges has to go, preferably by Monday. Use the bowl practices to do some different things while trying to hire a top flight OC, who likely doesn't join until spring practice.
That offensive squad does some very nice things when its run right.
