There has been a big guy on every team we've played this year, that I'd take over any of our bigs. Beilein needs to recruit athletes at the 5 ... enough of this "Pittsnoggle" BS. Pittsnoggle never won anything that mattered.

I think we have enough data now ... Doyle is just a guy. Another undersized 5 with a low ceiling bcus of his height and lack of athleticism. We lead the country in "big men" that play below the rim.

Far from the problem. Doyle is a freshman. This team has no offensive flow in the half court, which is concerning given how good our guard play is supposed to be. Keep in mind that Morgan was also an undersized 5 and found his way.

True, but a big reason they're shooting 20% is because of lack of talent, horrible shot selection, and no inside presence. Those things all come back to the coach.

levert, spike, irvin and walton were all 40% shooters from 3 last year. the looks they are getting are good. the are just missing them at an alarming rate.

i would wager that they are draining them in practice, else beilein wouldn't allow them to take so many. they aren't falling in the games.

if this team did anything from 3, we would be looking at only 2 losses right now.

Did you watch the game today? At least half of the threes we took were heavily contested and early in the shot clock. We shot 36 (!!!) threes today. That is the mark of a terrible offense.

This season is the perfect storm of barely missing on a number of too prospects and losing such a huge amount of talent to the NBA in back to back years. Beilein is a victim of his own success at developing talent and is going to have to do a bang up job to just remain competitive each game.

Does anyone still think Levert is a lottery pick this year? I didn't think he was before this season but now I'm certain he's probably a late late first or early second. He's too inconsistent right now. I do believe he can be a high first rounder but not right now. Not with how inconsistent he is.
