but I was able to get 8 individual tickets to OSU last year after all the four packs etc had gone through. Rather than stubhub, you'd be better off donating $100 to the Victor's club and you'll get first crack at tix (like the OSU ones I got). This easily makes it worth the $100 to give you the opportunity to buy at face.

Mid-August, although msu will probably be a part of the four packs.

Have you heard of mgoblue.com? They have some pretty neat info about uofm athletics there. Even a link for ticket buyers for all sports. Try some!

Corner section, near the top row, for $75 a piece?

A few thoughts come to mind:

  1. As these games are part of your season ticket package, you didn't pay face value.  You are trying to get someone to pay you more than what you paid for lower interest games.
  2. You bought your season tickets so you could attend the more desireable games, which I doubt you would price out at face value.
  3. People who want those games will be able to scalp for $20 a piece or less, guaranteed.

I don't pay the PSD.  Grandfathered in.  I paid $395 per seat this year, including the processing fee.  Average price per game is $66.  If he pays the endzone PSD ($50 per seat),  his average price is approx $74.  However, premium games (MSU and Iowa) are faced at $90.

So, no, he did not pay face for those tickets......

I will be bringing a group out from MD to see Denard's last home game vs. Iowa and after speaking with ticket office...I feel the following: MSU and Iowa will be used to promote packages available in July where you must buy seats against UMass and then pick any other 2 games (AF, Illinois, or NWest). They highly doubt that any tickets will be available for single game purchase for MSU and only scattered singles or endzones at best for Iowa. I suggest buying the packs...even if you take a loss on 2 of the 3 other games, you probably still pay less than EBay or stubhub prices for just MSU.

This is just a suggestion, but if in the end you are just looking to buy Iowa tickets and have no need for other tickets, buy them off Facebook marketplace from students willing to sell. You can usually find someone who is willing to sell low because they find out last-minute that they're going out of town or something like that. I got a Nebraska ticket for my friend last year for $50 when they could have easily sold for $100+. Granted, you will have to get a validation sticker and will in all liklihood have to be in the student section, but in the end, it could be significantly cheaper.

I guess I'm just suggesting it because I'm a recent graduate and that's what I plan on doing for next year. I will only be coming back for 1 game, and since I still have my MCard and would prefer to be in the student section anyway, that's what I'm going to do.

Early July public tics go on sale. I was able to get 2 Nebraska tics last year easy at face value. You should be able to snag msu tics if u r the first online.

the last two years from out-of-town grads who don't want to let their seats go (who can blame them), so they sell the entire season.  I got them at face value for 2010, but overpaid a bit in 2011.  Anyone know when the season tickets get mailed out?  I'll be scouring ebay shortly thereafter.

The Ticket Office had bundles that had ND, Nebraska, and OSu last year in various combinations with other games. I assume that they will use the MSU tickets to similarly sell as many packages as possible.

is that DB jacked the schedule around and we only have 1 premium game this year in msu.  So demand will be concentrated for this game.  Last year we had 3 (ND, Neb, ohio) so the demand we spread out.

Can anyone answer why DB did not schedule Neb home this year instead of last year?  ND and ohio home last year, msu Neb home this year is a fairly balanced scheudule (IMHO)
