This needs to be transcribed, annotated, and preferably translated into Xhosa for me to be satisfied with it.

You pay NOTHING to access this site. Zulu should more than suffice.

I second this emotion and wish I could triple upvote you for using the word Xhosa in a sentence.
I even heard the click.
Google it if you don't know Xhosa.

Consider it Google'd, and me amazed!

Well this is better than you always posting Top Billin' videos at least. Still a garbage effort overall.
August 14th, 2019 at 2:22 PM ^
There's enough hate out there, bro. No reason to bring that toxicity here.

I hope a direwolf bites your tiny nutsack off.

Speaking of nuts here is Rich Rodriguez in his new role at Ole Miss speaking of just such anatomical elements. It's an offensive line drill called "bite the nuts."

QB Coach Ben McDaniels met with the media today as well

To recap: everyone is doing great and competing. Even an update on Taylor Upshaw.

"There's a lot of RPO stuff in our offense". Talking about the need to get the DL to recognize between run & pass
Sounds like Dwumfour is still not full-go
August 14th, 2019 at 3:01 PM ^
Dwumfour....did not want to hear the injury comment or that he's simply attending meetings, etc. Damn!
August 14th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
I don't believe he's seriously injured - more just dinged up with something based on the comments that have been made by the coaching staff/insiders. Nua just said he didn't want to talk about injuries. I took his phrasing to simply mean he's doing the stuff he can do while he's dinged up
August 15th, 2019 at 11:00 AM ^
According to reports he's been dinged up ever since the Maryland game last year. He has yet to get fully healthy. Even if he is healthy enough to play, how much has he improved? Can he be functional against the run? If he hasn't been healthy enough to practice then probably not, so DT is still a massive question and I'm very concerned.

the life of a repo man is always intense.
August 14th, 2019 at 4:54 PM ^
Love that movie! :-)
August 14th, 2019 at 2:45 PM ^
Wow, did these reporters forget Phil Paea was around?
I mean he's the only interior player over 300 lbs that isn't a true freshmen, he switched AND switched back (he did tweet support of James Hudson earlier in the year so I'm sure he agrees switching positions is sometimes difficult on a player) but doesn't seem to be complaining about it. I know he must be getting some reps with Dwumfour still "working through".
I hope I'm not missing.something obvious because we could use him at NT.
August 14th, 2019 at 2:59 PM ^
It means he's not doing anything of note. I haven't heard a word on him in any way. Certainly don't assume he's going to play.
August 14th, 2019 at 4:01 PM ^
Well to be honest, I expect to see 12-15 guys out there at the start plus have a 9-10 man solid rotation when B1G season starts.
But Paea seems the best candidate at zero and one technique against the run, especially if there are a lot of three man fronts, unless they feel comfortable putting all the pressure on Hinton and Smith. I'd personally feel more comfortable easing those two into major snaps, so they are still peaking in November.
August 14th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
I can’t really fault them, I forgot he was around until you mentioned him. So is he back to DL, then?
August 14th, 2019 at 4:17 PM ^
Yup and up to 302.
August 14th, 2019 at 4:51 PM ^
my guess is it's just the position switch. He seemed like strong guy with decent speed for his size, but he was always going to be a little bit of an "adjust to competition" guy coming from Berrien Springs and unfortunately he's been moved around a bunch. Now he's landing back on the line but is starting over and now there's some crazy strong and talented guys he's fighting with like Hinton and Mazi to get on the 2 Deep. Both those guys will be young and inexperienced but have potential to be really good DTs.
Also how did we not recruit a DT in 2018 after we flipped most of the Paea and Hudson to Oline out of the 2017 class?
August 15th, 2019 at 1:14 PM ^
IIRC, Tyler Friday was the eggs in one basket guy that cycle.
I guess with all the negativity surrounding the other guy who switched, it would be good to see a positive story to help balance that out. Here's hoping the depth never gets so desperate again that they feel pressure to switch guys, because even if they try not to transfer that pressure on the student-athletes it's still not fair.
Worst part is it's still remnants of: Swenson don't camp, Tulley-Tillman hits send, Newsome gets cut, Wilson grabs a bag ..#drevNOeffect
August 14th, 2019 at 7:17 PM ^
So I teach at a school that played him in High School. He was mostly held in check against us his senior year 1 on 1 against a freshman. I couldn't believe he was a power 5 guy and I am not shocked that he is not getting press. It would be great if he breaks thru but this was always a possible outcome.
August 14th, 2019 at 8:01 PM ^
Wow, he was nearly rated a 4* by 247, normally they are at least in the ball park with defensive lineman.
O well, here's hoping he learned some secrets from Warrinner and adds depth till Dwumfour is 100%.
Thanks for the info, tho.

most important tidbit:
More on Ben Mason's transition
It’s very legitimate [...] he’s going to have a big role.
Yes, he still is screaming.
