Plus, New England is not known for shutting down short yardage plays. It is not like their defensive line is huge or they still have Wilfork.

Woof.

This is starting to smell like a Colts comeback victory as much as I hate to say it.

Never count out touchdown Tom.

I stand corrected.
I should have known better.

I don't want them to win on bad terms.

But at this point it doesn't matter. If you can't stop the run you won't win even if you get the calls.

Pats got it under control - their new holder is way too good!

Wow, I love seeing a team that can run the ball like the Patriots just did. It is such an impressive way to beat another team. It is also nice to see the play action pass open up as a result of pounding the ball.

Yet no one will criticize his ludicrous decision because of the annoyingly conservative/risk-averse mentality in the NFL. Gotta play for that field position!

Somewhere in Michigan a tear rolls down the face of a smiling Lloyd Carr who nods and says "yes" quietly to himself.

...just punt... from the 25 yard line?

Classy farewell to Dan D. by Bryant Gumbel. Very well done.
