taking 3 of the sons to hoops in a minute.  been working a couple of hours.   chores to do too. 

but by noon or thereabouts we will start the trip to AA.

I was  serious about freebies for one of the top poster's progeny. Peet's Major Dickensons's in my cup before my full day. I signed up for a draining double header...Rutgers v. Northwestern at UM soccer stadium ...B1G toueney play-in game, followed by my normal 7 hour football gig. I at least get a respite in the Victor's Lounge between them to fortify myself.

i told them about you this a.m. and they know we're going into gate 10.  what do i do when i get there, yell, 'hey scanner blue!'? and look around for someone who's head suddenly comes up?

i will have the twins with me, though they've grown a lot since that picture in the avatar.  we should be pretty easy to recognize.  incidentally, what is your last name?  i like to have my children address adults properly and it would be awkward not knowing your name, especially when you are going out of your way to be so gracious.

Coffee now.  Have a baseball game to coach at 11am.  Then off to grab a big fat pizza and get home and crack the beers and watch the 2nd half of penn st/msu, while having no clue who I should root for as I hate them both.

Jaw Jacker and I'm going to supplement that with some Basil Hayden. The only question is how early do I start. heading in to work for a couple hours, and my only issue is whether I start at 12:00 for the MSU / PSU game, or do I wait till about 5:00, and flow into the Michigan game at 7:30. On my way out the door I saw an interview with Harbaugh from yesterday on WDIV, and he had a bloody nose. Anyone else see that. looked like an impromptu presser after practice.

Drinking coffee right now.  The kid woke me up at 6:30 - before he even gets up for school, the little brat!  We'll be going to a 'Touch a Truck' thing around 10.  That's where a bunch of utility trucks, semi's, etc park in a school lot and let kids climb all over them.  Its a fund raiser for one of the local high school's girls soccer program, and they'll make thousands today despite the coming all-day rain.  It'll go something like this - he'll sit in the drivers seat and call for me to step up with him.  I'll explain the stickshiift, and he'll call Mom and explain to her what a stickshift is.  Mom, bored off her ass, will say 'smile for the camera', take a pic and then say 'yes, Ryan, I see it'.

That will be my morning...  Trucks rock, so it should be fun!

The wife is at work until 3, so it's me and the kids ages 5, 3, and 1. Columbian coffee for now. When the wife gets home, we'll both get into the Molson Ice, and watch football all afternoon.

Papachay Peruvian coffee, percolated. Wife made some creamer from a recipe she found. Might be the best cup I've ever had.

Hoping to enjoy some Founders Centennial IPA as Ped State rolls Moo U. Wife's driving us to the Michigan game. Likely only drink water at tailgate. She doesn't like to drive at night.

Haven't had the Backwoods but that Perrin is real nice! Goose Island always releases a few fantastic bourbon barrel beers on the day after Thanksgiving. Bourbon County Stout is the main one and there are a few varietals. Usually a barley wine and additional stouts with flavors like coffee or vanilla. I'm in Chicago so they're generally everywhere in the hometown (though they fly off the shelves). Worth a google to see if you can find near you, and if you can worth calling the store for details or to reserve if you can. I usually don't believe in working hard to find a beer but these are worth it if you're a bourbon barrel guy.
