Don Brown give a lot of looks on defense, run defense has improved over the year. Team has hit their stride during the Penn State game.
Shea is confident and playing his best football of the year.
That wasn't so hard, OP.

Thank you for this, now I don't have to watch him.
As for what he said - ground breaking stuff!!!

Thank you! Now I don't have to connect to a Facebook post to find out what he said. Bravo.

The only thing I'm worried about defensive wise is if OSU runs any RPO which the guy's haven't been the best against this year, and holding/PI on the DB's since their hands seem to be permanently attached to receivers jerseys. You can't be swiss cheese for a mobile QB, and give them free yards and free first downs against an offense like OSU's and expect to keep them off the scoreboard.
November 27th, 2019 at 12:56 PM ^
We’ve looked like shit vs the only 2 elite running teams we have faced (Wisky and Army) and RPOs are what you’re worried about? OSU is a top 5 rush offense in the nation and the #1 overall O. We need to be worried about them lining up and running zone read all the way down the field. They had a 91 yard drive vs PSU were they ran for 91 yards. PSU was the #1 rush D in the country.

We looked like shit against every team during that part of the season. There's zero information value in your statement.

Guy looks like a creepy Seth McFarlane. That's all I have to say about that.

Spock

So... he looks like Seth McFarlane..
November 27th, 2019 at 9:43 AM ^
I would say he looks more like Eddie Munster
November 27th, 2019 at 10:16 AM ^
He looks like he should be coaching Rutgers
November 27th, 2019 at 10:58 AM ^
He looks like he should be selling appliances for Ollie Fretter.
November 27th, 2019 at 11:05 AM ^
HA! Ollie Fretter. I still have the bedside clock radio I bought before college in 1990 from either Fretter or Highland Appliance so you've gots to be old to get this reference.

Mike Gundy but without the party in the back.

Fuck Ryan Day and Fuck OSU. Don't care what he says unless Michigan wins.

If someone hunches down behind Ryan Day, I'll push him over. We'll run away laughing.
November 27th, 2019 at 9:58 AM ^
What did you expect him to say? Their guys could really help improve our practice squad?
November 27th, 2019 at 10:00 AM ^
Question was asked, "Is Michigan the best team you've faced?". Day answered, "they're the most talented." Sort of an indirect shot at Harbaugh I thought by saying UM is the most talented they've faced, but not saying the best team.
That and the Meyer comments about how he was incredulous about UM players saying they felt they would win last year and that he thought the revenge tour showed disrespect are telling in that they don't like/respect Harbaugh.
I hope it lights some fire for the Michigan side.
November 27th, 2019 at 11:26 AM ^
I didn’t see that here. I thought Meyer went after Harbaugh pretty hard in his sit down, but with this, Michigan lost games to two teams that OSU has already played. Really, how can Day know if they are the best, they haven’t looked like it in the two measuring sticks Day has to work with. I thought acknowledging they are the most talented team OSU has played was kind of saying that he knows how challenging this game has the potential to be. That is at least how I took it.
November 27th, 2019 at 10:42 AM ^
Here's hoping he's the next John Cooper
November 27th, 2019 at 10:43 AM ^
It's abundantly clear that Ryan Day has watched every single Michigan game film from this year. He easily and casually (as someone does who knows the topic / info very well) referenced the Wisconsin and 2nd half of the Penn State game without even a slight hesitation.
This man has been prepping for us every single week, all season long and then some. Just one more confirmation of what we are told happens down in Columbus every single season.
I only hope our preparation can at least match if theirs if not exceed it.
November 27th, 2019 at 1:01 PM ^
It’s shocking they can devote time to UM every week and still win like all their games. Those douchers have lost 4 conference games in 8 years.
November 27th, 2019 at 1:33 PM ^
It's not shocking at all. They are so deep and talented at every position that their second team would be a top half team in the B1G. When you're that much better than everyone you play (besides UM and PSU) there's a lot of room for error without suffering a loss.
November 27th, 2019 at 10:54 AM ^
Partridge Harbaugh and Don Brown have been prepping for this for a long while. They won't give any fodder to the media, but you can guess by their comments in January after the beatdown and some coaches left for Ohio State.
I think you're going to see some completely new looks for this game.
Hopefully its enough to beat them. Living in Cleveland, this buckeye run for 15 years has been insufferable. I know tonight I will be getting into it with all my buckeye friends over some drinks.
November 27th, 2019 at 11:16 AM ^
Even though he's the enemy, I'd have a beer with the guy.
...nah, fuck that.
November 27th, 2019 at 11:23 AM ^
I recall Ezekiel as a troll. He behaves better than other trolls. Obviously fixated on OSU. Puts this up without comment. I don't object to those who identify themselves as being associated with other schools and making good faith comments without snark. No matter the post or comment, those who hide who they are should not be here.
November 27th, 2019 at 12:17 PM ^
Our OL really really really really needs to hold its own against Ohio's DL for us to have a fighting chance. A tall order.
November 27th, 2019 at 11:00 PM ^
I think keeping Fields contained is a more important key to the game. Michigan's going to score. I just don't want to see Fields get into a groove.
November 27th, 2019 at 1:43 PM ^
I read an article in the Free Press the other day about how Ryan Day refuses to say the word "Michigan" in ANY context. I get rivalries, but this practiced behavior (Day continued from Urban) is based on some misguided loyalty to Woody Hayes. This of course is not limited to coaches.... It is in-bread into their in-bread fans. This unbalanced hate which is perpetuated generation to generation and directed not only against a football rival but an entire state is puzzling considering the source of this misguided hate: Woody Hayes, an immature, tantrum throwing man-child with the inability to control himself in public. This petulant little man is NOT the model of a normal person in which one would train up a child to be. But, yet these buckeye fans continue to hold up this angry hate-filled psycho as the ideal coach to emulate. I guess I expected better of Ryan Day, but who am I fooling....? Of course he is going to toe the line established by the class-less trailer-trash institution that is ohio st.

Must be hard to talk about Michigan State.
