The aforementioned gentleman is from Colorado. Might he also be going on a vision quest with Alex Kozan?

Perhaps you all should focus more on the fact that we havent won a Big10 title in a very long while, than to overhype OSU losing one player. Surely they'll be fine at OL. And I won't be surprised to see Hunt go there now.
I digress.... Lewan is the man because he is coming back for 'unfinished business' which means he gets it... its for a Big Ten title.

I'm getting the feeling that you might be headed for a meltdown soon. The return to the old voting system is not going to be kind to you.

I have a sneaking suspicion he's a relatively toned down, Barking Sphincter, King of Belch, IJJS, etc.

Good God, the site that link points to is so archaic I refused to read it on general principle.

They do look pretty big for 2013 based on their projected starters with both tackles over 6'6" 310, both guards over 6'4" 300, and their center at 6'3" 295. But, for 2014 they will have to replace both guards, center, and one tackle. I'm not sure where their depth comes from based on the last few recruting classes and the transfer. They could struggle for Miller's senior year, which is nice because that's when our d-line will start to be coming into it's own.

Can you explain that? I'm ignorant to this idea. Why can't UM take JUCO transfers...does admissions not allow it or are we simply saying we have a higher academic standard and although they can accept them it's not as likely?

EDIT: Nothing to see here.

Ohio State has taken JUCOs before, but it's rare. Larry Grant is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, and that was 7 or 8 years ago.

Miller chooses to opt out early which wouldn't be terrible news for 2014 either. This is in reply to something 5-10 posts upstream but it doesn't seem to want to go there.

Okay good I got that out of the way. But really, WHAT?

Other than Maurkice Pouncey, it didn't seem that Florida produced many big-time linemen during his tenure there.
There have also been rumors/inklings that Meyer isn't the greatest talent evaluator and dislikes the recruiting process. He had some decent talent left from the Ron Zook years, and he turned that into some pretty good teams. So far he rode Braxton Miller (a Tressel recruit) to an undefeated season, but we'll see what happens as the years go on.

Yeah, I always thought that if Miller wouldn't have been the QB or had a bad freshman season then Meyer may not have ended up there. Just my opinion.

It will be interesting to see the matchups in the future. It looks like Meyer prefers D lineman to O lineman. OSU is getting some pretty decent DL guys and I think our OL vs. their DL will determine the future of this rivalry. The quality of our DL recruits seems to be going up so I think they will be able to handle their own. If our OL recruting can trump or neutralize Meyers DL recruiting than I don't see any reason why we wouldn't fair well in the coming years.

I think you're right, but if we can get RBs like Derrick Green then a great running game would be the answer to their speedy playmakers. Below is one of his most recent tweets to David Dawson. I don't know what it means but probably that he is coming to Michigan (sarcasm).

I'd imagine they'd be around 3 or 4. Hoke is putting in a tendency to recruit at least 3 OL every class.

We lose two guys to graduation (Lewan, Schofield), and in the meantime, I'm guessing at least one guy will transfer or quit football. So yeah, like the guy above said, probably 3 or 4.
