Rumor Mill: Harbaugh eyes NFL

I would be fine with a one year extension with a stipulation that fiery Harbaugh comes back in full force, UM pays any and all fines, and whoever carried this headphones cord all game is immediately rehired.

If the Lions hired Habaugh it would make both teams better.

Looks like Falcons, Texans, Lions, Jets, and Chargers will have openings. Good chance the Bears and Broncos follow. Heard maybe Eagles. Total of 7 openings if I am right. Think Eagles unlikely .
Options - Bieniemy, Saleh seem like top 2. Perhaps Joe Brady? Heard Jason Garrett? Urban doubtful or any other big college guy (Riley/Dabo). Fitzgerald at NW for Bears interesting rumor. If he says no or that doesn’t happen, think Harbaugh to Bears?? They won’t go Bieniemy (Nagy was OC Chiefs), don’t need a D guy in Saleh.
No clue who goes where, but not a bunch of great candidates. Maybe I am forgetting some.

Is there another high profile program in the country that has to deal with coaching rumors and changes more than Michigan? While we don't know exactly what is going on behind the scenes, the media creates their own storylines which more often than not are negative towards the program.
No, I don't blame anyone for improving their responsibilities and financial situation.
The program seems like it's in consistent change or rumors of it and not for the positive. This can't be a good look for recruits and something I think has hurt Harbaugh's tenure.

Yeah, Texas. They are as bad if not worse than us. They are more willing to pull the trigger quicker than Michigan because they big oil money to pay any buyouts or pay off an outgoing coach.
They keep missing the target like we do.

For better or worse, and still liking Jim for his UM ties and attitude, It's time for Um to move on. I don't think Jim can accomplish more than he has on the field.
