Rough day to be a Wolverine
So it does not look like Marvin Robinson or Devin Gardner will be able to enroll early, nor does it look like Tony Drake will be a member of the 2010 Wolverines. The Angry Michigan Hating God still hates us with a passion, so I really think we need some cheering up.
For your enjoyment, highlights of the 1969 beatdown of aOSU. Keep your heads up men!

I'm pretty sure the Angry Michigan Hating God is even angrier nowadays. I bet Bo is whacking his shins with a yard stick.

I think I can safely say that there have been much worse days to be a wolverine.

In the big picture, that extra semester for Robinson probably isn't a big deal. Many of kids have had to red shirt despite enrolling early. So it's probably not the difference between instant stardom and a year of riding the pine.
DG not enrolling early isn't a big deal, IMO, as he would have red shirted anyways (again, my opinion).
I think this is a "set back" that we can overcome, and pretty easily cancel out (like maybe by signing Parker or something).

We need a UFR for this game. Offense & defense, all the charts (Moorheadchart?)-- the whole shebang. I'm not superstitious, but tell me that doesn't sound like a nice prelude to a reversal of misfortune.

Come on, the season's over, we just beat OSU in basketball, and we just lost one recruit (Drake). Gardner and Robinson are still coming, just later.
Next season, a walk-on or true Freshman won't be the starter at QB. Positive vibes.

Give it a second, a day like today wouldnt be so tough if we werent on the bender of the last three years.

coulda been a good APB, but this opens up another scholarship for a position of need. MLB, OL, NT? bring em down...
any news on kinard?

Couldn't see DG passing up Tate. Feel like this "strongly encourages" him to redshirt, which I always thought was wisest anyway. Robinson . . that's life. Witty, I don't understand. He knew the hoops he had to jump through. Same thing with Drake.

Witty, from what I have heard, has technically qualified. It's now our admissions process holding him up.
I reiterate that this is just what I've heard.

Exactly how many good days have there been to be a Wolverine in the last few years? Not many. These are dark times, my friend.

For the wretched of the earth
There is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end
And the sun will rise.

Every day is a good day to be a Wolverine. Tomorrow will be a good day, the next day will be a good day. Yesterday was a good day.

It's NEVER a rough day to be a Wolverine. I thank [insert non-religion specific diety] that I am from Michigan every day of my life.
Michigan built this country--built this country. Gave it wheels. Gave it an identity. American muscle. Michigan ROCKS.
Winged helmets, The Victors, 100,000 strong, Maize 'N Blue, Fielding "Point a Minute" Yost, Bo "Kick Fucking Ass" Schembechler. We'll be back.

Are you kidding? It's still Great, to be, a Michigan Wolverine! There isn't one day where I don't think that.

This was an especially happy day to be a Wolverine, and I still hold out hope we will see this again in a couple months.
